SPSM-AK_21.5.1.0 Release Notes

Changed the title "Teacher, Special Ed" to "Provider, Special Ed" in the ESER so that the provider will fulfill the Special Ed requirements for meeting participants.

Fixed an issue where clicking on a student's IEP alert could open the documents for a different student.

Objectives are now listed under each goal.

The "Goal area" is now a required field.

Updated the IEP so that when creating a new IEP as a copy of a prior IEP, the new IEP does not copy the Measurable Annual Goals section from the previous IEP.

Users can now select multiple accommodations after selecting a Test and Test Format.

Updated the Activity start and end dates to auto-populate with the IEP start and end dates. The activity dates will be editable but need to be within the IEP start/end date range.

Note: The IEP Start date flows from the IEP Meeting date on the IEP Cover Page. If the IEP Meeting Date is changed, the Cover Page will update all the activities on the "Secondary Transition" area to reflect the changes made to the IEP Meeting date.

Updated each activity to now have an optional field: "Person/Agency Responsible." This field specifies the person or agency responsible for providing the transition activities identified by the Team.

Updated the Service start and end dates to auto-populate with the IEP start and end dates. The service dates will be editable but need to be within the IEP start/end date range.

Note: The IEP Start date flows from the IEP Meeting date on the IEP Cover Page. If the IEP Meeting Date is changed, the Cover Page will update all the services on the "Special Education & Related Services/LRE" section to reflect the change made to the IEP Meeting date.

The "Accommodations_" keyword table is now editable by administrators.

Added "Orientation and Mobility" as a primary special ed service type.

Added "Student" to the following keyword tables with InUse=Yes:

• ContactRelationships
• StudentContactRelType
  

Note: This would be helpful, for example, when a student takes over their educational rights or for meeting invitations in which the student is to be invited.

Updated the Parent Contact Information to now sync with the contact information within PowerSchool SIS. For example, if contact information is removed from SIS, then that change will reflect within PowerSchool Special Programs.

Users can now select multiple "State Assessments" after selecting an Assessment and Assessment Type.

• When creating a new IEP by copying from a prior IEP, only the latest Related Services and Special Ed Services will flow into the new IEP.

• "Special Ed Services" and "Related Services" profiles will only display information from the latest IEP.
