IEP at a Glance summarizes key information for educators and support staff.

Get started

To access the IEP at a Glance document:

  1. Complete the IEP document and change the status to Final.

  2. Navigate to Documents within the Student's profile.

  3. Locate the IEP at a Glance document. The IEP at a glance is automatically created and available as a Draft.

Student’s Name

Name of the student for which the IEP at a glance report is being generated.

Date of Birth

Student’s date of birth, as picked from the profile

School Year

The academic program year from which the report is fetching date.

Grade

The academic grade the student is currently in.

Student ID

The student’s personal ID is as per the school record.

Home School

This is the school the student would normally attend based on their residential address.

Even if the student receives special education services elsewhere, this is their designated school based on district boundaries.

School

This could refer to the actual school the student is currently attending, which might be different from their home school.

  • If a student is placed in a specialized program at another school, the "School" field may list that program's location.

  • If a student is attending a private or charter school through an IEP placement, this field may list that institution.

  • If the student remains in their home school for services, both fields might have the same name.

IEP Initiation or Duration Dates (From)

The date on which the IEP or Special Education Program began.
