SPSM-AL_21.9.1.0 Release Notes

Updated the following changes to the Child Count Snapshot report:

• Added a field for Snapshot Date to the Child Count Snapshot profile above the Approval date field.
• Added a column for Snapshot Date to the S_AL_STU_STATE_ChildCount_X export report.
• Added the ability to disapprove a snapshot so that after a snapshot is approved and edits need to be made, the snapshot can be disapproved without clearing the snapshot.
• If the snapshot was taken before the Federal Count Date, the Clear Snapshot Data button is accessible. However, if the snapshot was taken on or after the Federal Count Date, the option to Clear Snapshot Data is not available.

• Made revisions to the logic on the following reports for Invalid State ID:
  • Child Count Validation
  • Child Count Validation - Errors
    Note: If a student has a State ID number that is not between 1000000000 and 2999999999, an X will be displayed in the Invalid State ID column on these reports. 

• Once a State ID number is corrected, the student will be pulled into the following reports:
  • Child Count Student Listing
  • Child Count Total
  • Child Count Snapshot

• Added a column for IntegrationIDT Missing on the following reports:
  • Child Count Validation
  • Child Count Validation - Errors
    Note: If a student is missing an IntegrationIDT, there will be an X under the IntegrationIDT Missing column on these reports. 

• Students without a current enrollment date will show an X in the “Not Enrolled in Current Acad. Year.” column. If a student’s IntegrationIDT is fixed or a current enrollment date is added, the student will appear on the following reports:
  • Child Count Student Listing
  • Child Count Total
  • Child Count Snapshot
• Corrected the logic for Not enrolled in current academic year. This error looks at Globals, the start and last day of school, and the student's enrollment start date to be between the dates in Globals profile.

Removed the Draft watermark from displaying on the following documents when the documents are in draft status:

• IEP, Progress Report
• Notice and Consent for Initial Evaluation
• Notice and Consent for the Provision of Services
• Notice of Revocation of Consent for Initial Eval
• Notice and Consent for Reevaluation
• Notice of IEP Team’s Decision Regarding Reeval
• Notice and Invitation / Consent for Agency Part
• Notice of Proposal or Refusal to Take Action

Fixed an issue on the Gifted Eligibility/Screening Determination form where the score entered in Section 1 would auto-populate in the S10 field if the same test was selected under Aptitude Tests Administered. Now, the score is not auto-populating in the S10 field.

Updated the following changes to the Notice and Consent for Initial Evaluation document:

• Fixed an issue within the Notice and Consent for Initial Evaluation document where the Result of 1st Attempt field was required when the document was in Draft status. 
• Updated to ensure that the Result of 1st Attempt field will only be a required field upon finalizing the document.

Updated the following changes to the Notice and Invitation / Consent for Agency Part document:

• Fixed an issue on the Notice and Invitation / Consent for Agency Part. document where the Result of 1st Attempt field would require while the document was in Draft status. 
• Updated to ensure that the Result of 1st Attempt field is only required when the document is in Finalized status.

Additionally, when the Purpose of Meeting was selected as “Discuss Transition/Postsecondary Services,” the student must be selected under people invited to the meeting and how the student was invited. If “Discuss Transition/Postsecondary Services” is selected as the Purpose of Meeting, the student must be selected for the staff member to save the document. It was previously requiring the Agency field be selected.

Updated the StaffPositions keyword table so that the previous keywords are removed and updated to match the approved Staff Positions list provided by the ALSDE.

Updated the StudentContactEmailType keyword table to match the following keywords with PowerSchool SIS:

• Keyword P has the description of “Personal.”
• Keyword W has the description of “Work.”

Updated the StudentContactRelType and Relationship keyword tables to match the approved Relationship and Student Contact Relationship Types provided by the ALSDE.

Modified the EI to Preschool state reporting fields in the Individual Education Program (IEP) document for three-year-old students. These fields are only required when “R1 From Early Intervention” is selected as Referral Type.

Notice and Eligibility Decision document

Modified the Notice and Eligibility Decision document so that the SLD section will only be required at finalization when the Eligibility decision section has the Area of Disability is equal to SLD (Specific Learning Disability). 

Fixed the following issues on the Referral for Evaluation document:

• Zip Code will now flow into the document for the student.

• Student’s Primary Language will now populate the Native Language field. Previously, it was populating the Home Language.

• The Document Delivery section will now be required when the document is finalized. Previously, if the Document Delivery section was not added when the Referral for Evaluation was created, it did not require that section upon finalizing the document. 

Updated the Transfer Envelopes utility so that data within the following Child profiles can be included in the transfer envelope:

• Assistive Technology

• Gifted Tests

• Program Modifications

• Related Services

• Special Education Services

• Support for Personnels

• Acc Needs and Assessments
