SPEDSM-42602Assessment Plan & Prior Written Notice: Assessment Plan Signature Page

Updated the Assessment Plan Signature Page to make the Parent/Guardian signature field mandatory if any consent checkboxes are selected.

SPEDSM-40630Behavior option: GoalWizardEnabled
  • Added a behavior option GoalWizardEnabled. Setting the value of this behavior option as "True" will enable the Goal Wizard, and setting the value as "False" will disable the Goal Wizard.
  • This behavior option replaces the Goal Wizard field in the Globals profile used to enable or disable the Goal Wizard.
SPEDSM-41052CALPADS Data Reports > Aging Out Student List

Created a report Aging Out Student List under the CALPADS Data Reports category. This will help identify the students who will age out between different school year intervals.

SPEDSM-42854IEP > Progress Report

Updated the Progress Report section of the IEP to make the "Completed By" field editable even after finalizing the IEP.

SPEDSM-39728IEP > Services

Added the text "OFFER OF FAPE" under the Services title in the services section of the IEP.

SPEDSM-43954IEP > Signature and Parent Consent

Disabled the 2a and 2b checkboxes in the Signature and Parent Consent section of the IEP when the IEP is either an Initial or Triennial IEP and a disability is present in the Cover Sheet of the IEP.

Updated the Signature and Parent Consent section of the IEP to make the Parent Consent checkboxes 2a and 2b always optional.

Updated the rule to not display the message "Should select any one of the agreement options - 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d" in an IEP amendment/revision if the checkbox "Amendment agreed to by parent and district. In accordance with IDEA 2004, an IEP may be amended between annual IEP meetings without the necessity of calling a new IEP meeting if agreed to by the parents and the district" has been selected in the Signature and Parent Consent section of the original IEP.

Updated the Signature and Parent Consent section of the IEP to not display the checkboxes "Parent was offered a Special Education Services Plan" and the textbox "Special Education Individualized Services Plan offered by" in view/print mode when the Profit checkbox is selected in the Private Placement area.

Updated the Special Factors section of the IEP so that the checkbox "For students K and above, is the student classified as an English Learner?" will appear Yes if EL checkbox has been selected as Yes in the IEP Cover Sheet and will display No if the EL checkbox has been selected as No in the IEP Cover Sheet.

SPEDSM-43709IEP and IPF > Office Use Only

Updated the Office Use Only area of the IEP and the IPF documents to display the Parent Response and Date Received fields in each repeating row.

SPEDSM-41957IEP, Service Plan: Validation for Program Setting Code
  • Added a validation to display a warning message when the Residential Facility or Correctional Facility educational setting is selected even when the Residential Status in the Cover Sheet is Parent/Legal Guardian.
  • This is applicable for both IEP and Service Plan.
SPEDSM-43043Interim Placement form > Signature section
  • Moved the signature area from the Interim Placement form Cover sheet to a new section titled Signature.
  • This section will be editable before and after the finalization of the document.

Added the custom capability to the Keyword Table EL_OverallPerformaceLevel to indicate Custom codes.

SPEDSM-42372Multiple Documents: Resident Status data flow

Updated the Residence Status field in multiple documents (IEP, IFSP, Service Plan, Interim Placement Form) to populate from the Residential Status field in Student profile and be editable. Any changes to the Residential Status field in the document will reflect in the Student Profile.

SPEDSM-42395Multiple Documents > Not allowing finalization if meeting date is in the future

Updated the rule for multiple documents ( IEP, IFSP, SP) to not allow the finalization of the document if the meeting date is in the future.

SPEDSM-42705Multiple documents > PWN

Updated the PWN section of multiple documents to make the "Written Request Attached (Upload here)" mandatory if the 'Parent/Guardian/Adult Student Requests Revocation of Services' checkbox is selected on the PWN.

Updated the PWN Date field in the Team action section of multiple documents to leave it blank, editable, and mandatory and not have any data flow from the PWN section of the corresponding document.

SPEDSM-26732Section 504 Plan
  • Updated the Section 504 Plan to move the Consent to Implement SECTION 504 Plan area to a new section of the Section 504 Plan.
  • This section will be editable before and after finalization.
SPEDSM-42127Service Plan - Initial Dates
  • Updated the Service Plan to make the fields "Initial Referral Date," "Parent Consent to Evaluation," and "Original Special Ed Entry Date" editable in the document if it has not been updated from the Student profile.
  • The dates entered for these fields in the document will then flow back to the profile.
SPEDSM-42883Service Plan > Private School

Updated the Private School lookup in the Service Plan document to display only the schools marked as Private Day School, Private preschool, and Private Residential School in the location profile.

SPEDSM-42801Student Profile > Updates to fields in the Special Education section

Updated the following changes to the Special Education section of the Student profile:

  • The Special Education section will populate the Initial IEP Meeting Date with the IEP Meeting Date when the Meeting Type in the IEP is Part B Initial Evaluation.
  • The Special Education section will populate The Most Recent Annual Review Date with the IEP Meeting Date when the Meeting Type in the IEP is Annual Education or Service Plan Meeting.
  • The Special Education section will populate the Initial IEP Consent based on the checkbox selected in the Consent area of the Signature Page of the IEP and when the Meeting Type is Part B Initial Evaluation.
  • The Special Education section will populate the Initial IEP Consent Date when the meeting type in the IEP is Part B Initial Evaluation and the consent is Given.
  • The Special Education section will populate the Eligibility Determination Date with the IEP Meeting date when the meeting type in the IEP is either Part B Initial Evaluation or Triennial Evaluation.
  • The Special Education Exit date and Special Education Exit reason will be populated in the Student profile when the meeting type in the IEP is Triennial and the No Longer Eligible for Sp. Ed checkbox is selected in the Cover Sheet of the IEP.
SPEDSM-42367Student Profile > Updates to fields in the Special Education section
  • Updated the Student Profile to populate the Eligibility Determination Date with the IEP Meeting Date when the meeting type is either Part B Initial or Triennial.
  • The Eligibility Status in Student Profile will be set to Eligible if the parent has not provided consent in the IEP and the checkboxes Not Eligible for Special Education and Exiting from Sp.ED is not selected in the Cover Sheet of the IEP.

Updated the data flow to the Most Recent Annual Review Date in the student profile to populate the field with the IEP Meeting Date / SP Meeting Date even when the Type of Meeting is Triennial Evaluation.

SPEDSM-42879Student profile, Special Education, Compliance timelines: Reeval Due Date

Updated the Reeval Due Date field in the student profile to populate only when the student's eligibility status is Eligible.
