SPEDSM-47703Assessment Plan & PWN

Updated the data flow to populate the field Initial Evaluation Consent in Student Profile when the type of Assessment is Initial in the Prior Written Notice section of the Assessment Plan & PWN.

SPEDSM-47700Assessment Plan & PWN: Assessment Plan Signature Page

Updated the Assessment Plan Signature Page section of the Assessment Plan & PWN to make the field "Date Signed" a required field.

SPEDSM-47673CALPADS Report Modifications

Made the following modifications to the CALPADS report:

  • Student, Demographics, Enrollment Information: Added field School of Attendance NPS Override. 
    Note: This field displays in Edit mode.
  • Data Selection: Modified the reports to look at (Administration, Configuration, Profile Types, and then Globals) First and Last day of school for data selection. It allows districts to control which school year data is selected for reporting. For example, using 7/1/2020 - 6/30/2021 will provide data in that date range. After finalizing the current CALPADS, change these dates to 7/1/2021- 6/30/2022.
  • Plan type 300 (Pending) and Meeting type 30 (Pending Initial Evaluation): Modified reports to not display data for the following fields:
    • Primary Residence Code
    • Post Secondary 
    • Transportation, etc.
  • Students with Meeting type 30 (Pending Initial) will report Plan type 300.
  • Selection criteria modified to not update school locations if the enrollment date is greater than the meeting or amendment date.
  • Services: Moved any services connected to a Triennial (40) record to link to an Annual (20).
  • Triennial records:
    • Should not report a Delay Reason.
    • Exiting students should not have a Triennial record.
    • Amendments to the triennial record should be populated as an amendment to the Annual record, not the triennial record.
SPEDSM-47606CALPADS: School Year selection

Modified CALPADS reports to use the following fields instead of the rollover year:

  • Administration
  • Configuration
  • Profile Types
  • Globals
  • Start/End Dates 

This allows districts to set data selection for these reports as they wish (For example, 20/21 vs. 21/22).

SPEDDEV-20673Data Integration: NPS Building Numbers
  • Added the ability to download NPS building numbers.
  • Data now flows from PowerSchool SIS, S_CA_Stu_X.NPS_CDS_SchoolCode field to PowerSchool Special Programs, Profile, Demographics, Enrollment Information, {NonPublicSchoolCode} through the Student Import (model) & PowerSchool - Student Change Notification (model) for CALPADS reporting.
SPEDSM-47912IEP: Data flow to Student Profile
  • Updated the data flow from the IEP to populate the "Initial Eligibility Date" field in the Student Profile only when the Meeting Type selected in the IEP is Part B Initial and the student is eligible for Special Education.
  • Updated to not populate the Special Education Exit Date and Special Education Exit Reason fields when the Meeting Type selected in the IEP is Part B Initial and the student is not eligible for Special Education.
SPEDSM-44194IEP: Draft Watermark
  • Administrators can now control when and where the watermarks appear. Enable the "Print Draft Status As Water Mark" watermark in the overall template properties, and then, on the sections you do not want to see, enable "Suppress Water Mark for This Section" in the section properties.
  • If there is a heading at the header of the page, a user's browser controls them, which they can turn off.
SPEDSM-47053IEP: Progress Report

Updated the Progress Report section of the IEP to make the General Comments textbox editable even after finalizing the document.

SPEDSM-47328IEP: Signature and Parent Consent

Updated the Signature and Parent Consent section of the IEP Amendment/Revision to disable the following checkboxes when the "Amendment agreed to by parent and district. In accordance with IDEA 2004, an IEP may be amended between annual IEP meetings without the necessity of calling a new IEP meeting if agreed to by the parents and the district" checkbox is selected: 

  • 1a-1d
  • 2a-2b 
SPEDSM-46165IEP: Signature and Parent Consent page

Made the following changes on the Signature and Parent Consent page:

  • Updated the Signature and Parent Consent section of the IEP to make the IEP Meeting Participants area required.
  • The Parent Signature area will be required if any one of the 1a-1d or 2a-2b checkboxes is selected.
SPEDSM-48197ISP: Exit date data flow

Updated to flow the ISP exit date to the student profile when any one of the following checkboxes is selected:

  • My child is eligible for special education services; however, I no longer wish to access the special education services available to them.
  • I do not consent to this Special Education Services Plan.
SPEDSM-47896ISP: Services - Not eligible

Updated to make to the Special Education and Related Services area optional when any one of the following checkboxes is selected:

  • Not Eligible for Special Education
  • Exiting from Sp. ED
SPEDSM-47154Notice of Meeting

Updated the following changes to the Notice of Meeting document:

  • Created a new field labeled "Latest Notice of Meeting IEP Invitation Date" in the Special Education section of the Student Profile.
  • Added the data flow from the IEP Meeting Date field in the Notice of Meeting document to the "Latest Notice of Meeting IEP Invitation Date" field within the Student profile.
  • Added the data flow from the "Latest Notice of Meeting IEP Invitation Date" field to the following locations within the IEP:
    • IEP Meeting Date field in the Cover Sheet.
    • Goal Start Date field in the Goals and Objectives section.
    • Service Start Date field in the Services section.
SPEDDEV-21510 PowerSchool - ClassStaffRoster Import

Modified the PowerSchool - ClassStaffRoster Import (model) power query. This power query successfully retrieves the current year's ClassStaffRoster data.

Modified the PowerSchool - ClassStudentRoster Import (model) power query. This power query successfully retrieves the current year's ClassStudentRoster data.

SPEDDEV-22762PowerSchool - Student Import & PowerSchool - Student Change Notification

Modified the layouts for the "District of Residence" field.

SPEDSM-46167Service Plan for Parentally Placed Private School Student (SPPSS )

Updated the following changes to the SPPSS form:

  • Added a new field labeled "Last Evaluation" in the "Dates" area. This field will appear when the profile is blank for the user to enter information from another district.
  • The "Next Eval" field is projected from the "Last Evaluation" field.
SPEDSM-47955Service Plan for Parentally Placed Pvt Sch Student

Updated the data flow to populate the "Date Initial Evaluation Consent Received" field in the Student profile from the "Parent Consent to Evaluate" field in the Service Plan.

SPEDSM-42195Student Profile Updates

Updated the Special Education section of the Student profile to clear the following fields if these dates are greater than the Special Education exit date:

  •  IEP End Date
  • Reeval Due Date
SPEDSM-47675Student Profile: Set Plan Type as Pending Initial Evaluation
  • Updated the Plan Type field in the Special Education section of the Student profile to be set as "Pending Initial Evaluation." The evaluation has not yet happened when the student has had a referral, and parental consent has been obtained for the Initial Evaluation in the Assessment Plan & PWN document.
  • The students selected with the Plan Type as "Pending Initial Evaluation" will also be included in the CALPADS Special Education Program Report.
