The issue of services being incorrectly displayed in the 'IEP at a Glance' section when a student is no longer eligible for special education services has been resolved.

CALPADS Degree of Support

Users must now report and track the Degree of Support for CALPADS. This change involves reporting specific domains from the student’s Present Levels/Goals and categorizing them as either 'Intensive Instruction' or 'Mild/Moderate Support' based on user input.

The system now prompts parents signing an IEP to complete only the relevant postsecondary goal section based on the student's grade level and diploma track. This ensures that parents are not required to sign both sections unnecessarily, streamlining the process.

Changes to Transition Planning Age

The transition planning age for students with IEPs will change to 14 instead of 16, effective July 1, 2025, as mandated by Assembly Bill 438. Suitable changes have been made to the IEP document to be compliant with the bill.

Added a 'Previous District Exit' field to the Interim Placement document to capture after the date when a Student was deemed no longer eligible for services as determined by the previous school district.

Service Plan Updates

Changes have been made to the Service Plan document regarding Meeting Type Rules. These updates were implemented for the Fall term at the beginning of the school year in response to modifications in the rules governing IEPs for Private Placement.

As a result, the District will no longer conduct IEPs for Private Placement; only assessments will be carried out. All Service Plans will now load IEP profile data.

A document action has been created to address an issue where IEP students are receiving both a new section and a retired section during amendments.

A new section titled "Supplemental Support Details" has been added under the Services section of the document. This section is activated and becomes mandatory when the student is determined to be in need of supplemental support.

The purpose of this new section is to provide details related to supplemental support for students, as determined by the IEP Team following a Supplemental Support Assessment.

When an initial IEP is finalized with Parent No Response Final Attempt, the student's profile incorrectly sets the plan type to 'Individualized Education Program (IEP)'. The expected behavior is for the student profile to show 'Eligible - No Education Plan (Other Reasons)' or 'Not Eligible' based on eligibility.
