APR 13 - Secondary Transition

The Annual Performance Report 13 (APR 13) - Secondary Transition report focuses on the State's efforts to support students with disabilities in their transition from school to post-school activities, including education, employment, and independent living. The report assesses the State's compliance with the transition requirements outlined in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

Submission Requirements

The report lists all the students being served under special education services aged 14 years and older during the reporting timeframe with an active Individualized Education Program (IEP). Additionally, the students must have an IEP dated within the reporting duration.

If a given student did not have the secondary transition plan via IEP by age 14 or did not attend the IEP meeting, the student will be listed on the report, but the details will be displayed in red text.

Generate Report

From the Reporting menu, choose Standard Reports.
Click Part B Federal Reporting, then click APR 13 - Secondary Transition.
Enter a Start Date and End Date manually or use the calendar icon for the reporting duration.
Click Update Report with Values.

To review the latest data, click Refresh after opening the report in the application.

The student had Sec. Transition Plan by Age 14	The report verifies if the Transition Plan is available for students aged 14 and above.
