This report lists students who had a special education evaluation due between the dates you selected. It focuses on students who were under the age of 22 at the time of their evaluation. Even if students are no longer active, they will still appear in the report if they meet these conditions. The goal is to ensure you see all students with at least one past evaluation during the selected time period, regardless of their current status.

Submission requirements

  • Includes students with an evaluation due date within the selected reporting period.

  • Students must be younger than 22 years as of 60 days before the evaluation due date.

  • The report includes both active and inactive student records.

Calculation Formula

Total number of students

#

It checks that the evaluation due date:

  • is not empty, and

  • falls between the report start and end dates.

It includes students younger than 22 years, as of 60 days before the evaluation due date.

The report accounts for both active and inactive students.

Percent Timely

%

  • Numerator: Timely Students

  • Denominator:

    • Option 1: [Timely Students] + [Number of Untimely - Held Late Students] + [Number of UnTimely - Not Held Students]

    • Option 2: [Total number of students] - [Number of Excluded Students]

Number of Timely Students

#

This rule identifies students with at least one evaluation history date that is on or before the most recent evaluation due date within the report date range. It also checks that this most recent evaluation due date is earlier than another recorded evaluation due date for the student.

Number of Untimely - Held Late Students

#

This rule includes students who have an evaluation history record where the evaluation history date is after the most recent evaluation due date within the report range. It also confirms that there is no evaluation history where the evaluation history date is on or before the most recent due date and that same due date is earlier than another evaluation due date.

Number of Untimely - Not Held Students

#

This rule excludes students with an evaluation history record where the evaluation history date is within the report range after the most recent evaluation due date.

Number of Excluded Students

#

This rule checks if a student had an evaluation due during the reporting period and whether no earlier evaluations were recorded for that same due date. It also checks if the student had exited the district or special education before the evaluation was due. Students who exited special education with reason code 04 (Parent Revocation) on or before the due date are included. Additionally, the rule includes students who were either enrolled in the district within 60 days of the evaluation due date or not enrolled at all during that time. These checks help ensure that only valid and recent evaluation records are counted in the report.
