Student Quick Search and Demographics Part B Profile Updates

Made the following user interface changes to the Student Quick Search:

• Renamed the search criteria field Child/Local ID to USI. It is the first field on the search criteria.

• Users can now search students based on their USI using this field on the search criteria. The system will search the students where the {ID} db field value on student records matches the keyword user provided as USI on search criteria.

Made the following updates to the Demographics Part B profile:

• Renamed the first field on the Demographics Part B profile to USI. This field will refer to the {ID} database field value on student records.

• After the migration or integration of OSSE data into PowerSchool Special Programs, the USI value will flow to {StateID} database field on the student field. It remains as backend data, and the USI will not be available anywhere on the application UI. The system auto-populates the student's USI on all the Part B student documents. If the USI value is incorrect or blank, the user must correct it in the IDS or student import. This field will not be visible or accessible to the end users on the application UI. 

• Added a field named SIS ID to the profile. This field will hold the Local ID post-migration of the student's data from the District of Columbia.

Service Records Part B and IEP Services Part B Profile Updates

Made the following changes to the Service Records Part B profile:

• Updated the Profile summary grid to display the critical and more closely related service record details together.

• Rearranged the order of columns to allow the user to see all important details on the summary grid.

• Updated the Service Record duration to display in two separate columns for Hours and Minutes, similar to how the duration is displayed in the detailed profile view.

• Updated to display the Attending School details on the service record from the LEA Entry/Exit profile based on the Service Date.

Made the following changes to the IEP Services Part B profile:

• In the IEP Services Part B profile enhanced the filtration methods for Staff Positions for the service provider assigned to the services. The system now allows the user to only assign the Staff positions associated with the service provider on the Staff profile.

SWD Count Summary Part B Profile and Snapshot Script – Improvements on Snapshot Data Capture

Made the following changes to the SWD Count Snapshot script:

• Updated the snapshot script located under Administration, Configurations, Profiles Types, Update Scripts, and then Populate SWD Count Summary script to gather all the important information of students with a disability like demographics, dedicated aides, LRE details, and so on, from various profiles in the system and then update the same on the SWD count profile as a snapshot data.

Made the following changes to the SWD Count Summary Part B profile:

• Updated the SWD Count Summary Part B profile to correctly categorize the student's disability data by adding multiple sections to the profile.

• Grouped the profile fields to locate module-specific data together. Some fields are renamed to improve readability and adherence to the verbiage used on the document templates and general terminologies used in the reports.

Profile Formatting - Name and UI Styling Changes

• Formatted the user interface for all profiles available on the District of Columbia state model to be more organized and consistent.

• Renamed the profiles by adding Part B as a suffix to the original profile name. It is to separate the profiles used under various processes for early intervention services (Part C) or special education services (Part B).

• Updated the summary grids to display critical information and renamed the columns to more specific field names for profiles holding multiple records.
