Globals Profile

Removed the following fields from the Globals profile, LEA Calendar Information section as they are not used in the model:

  • Reporting Start Date

  • Reporting End Date

Student With Disabilities SWD Count: Profile: Globals: Script and Students with Disabilities Summary Report

Made the following updates to Globals profile: 

  • Added a new date field labeled Final Submission Date on the LEA Calendar Information flyout.

  • When the user populates the Special Education Count field, the Final Submission Date value is required. 

  • Removed the field labeled Discipline Count Date.

Made the following updates to the SWD Count Summary Part B Profile: 

  • The Count Date value is now stored in the profile record. It no longer refers to Globals, LEA Calendar Information, and then Count Date field. The profile record will be editable only when the Globals, Final Submission Date is less than or equal to today’s date and today’s date is greater than Globals Count Date. Otherwise, the profile is not editable. 

  • The Age at Audit field was updated to calculate based on the child’s age as of the Count Date value in the child profile record, not the Globals Audit Date.

Made the following updates to the Populate SWD Count Summary Update Script: 

  • The script will no longer delete the student’s SWD Count Summary Part B profile, as it will keep historical count records. 

  • The script will add, remove, or update the student’s profile record when today’s date is less than or equal to the Special Education Count Date in the Globals profile.

Made the following updates to the Part B Federal Reporting, Students with Disabilities Summary report: 

  • Renamed the report to Students with Disabilities Snapshot Report. 

  • Added a Count Date value where the user can select a single date which will then select all students with an SWD Count Summary Part B profile record with the same date value.

IEP Amendment and IEP At A Glance

Made the following updates to the IEP Amendment page:

  • Added a new field labeled IEP Meeting Date. The value auto-populates from the original IEP meeting date associated with the IEP document.

  • The Amendment of IEP dated field displays the most recent IEP Amendment date. In the case of the first amendment of the IEP, the Original IEP Meeting Date and the Amendment of IEP Dated field values will be the same. When the IEP is amended for a second time, the IEP Meeting Date will remain the same, and the Amendment of IEP dated field will show the most recent Amendment date.

Made the following update on all other sections of the amendment document:

  • On the header of the sections, the Date of Amendment field displays the latest amendment meeting date, and the Meeting Date field will display the original IEP date.

Made the following update to the IEP At a Glance section:

  • Added the OSSE logo to the page.

SPEDSM-79298

IEP Document: ESY Section

When the student is NOT eligible for ESY as indicated on the IEP, upon finalization of the document, the system will create a new ESY profile record with the following data flow: IEP date, IEP Type, and ESY Eligible = No.

Student Enrollment District

Mapped the AttendingLEA in the OSSE Part B Student Import (model) import so that it populates the Enrollment District field in the Student Profile.

Student Local ID

Mapped the LocalID in the OSSE Part B Student Import (model) import so that it populates the SIS ID field in the Student Profile.
