IEP: Invitation to Meeting update

In November 2023, PowerSchool released an update (SPEDSM-70636) that required the Invitation to Meeting to be created in the same school year as an IEP. However, this change caused issues when creating or editing an IEP if Invitation to Meeting did not exist in the same school year. Therefore, PowerSchool rolled back the changes to ensure a smooth experience for users.

Fixed an issue on the Prior Written Notice section of the IEP where the section would sometimes be blank when in View or Print mode.

Fixed an issue introduced in the November release where a separate letter was not being generated for students if an Invitation to Meeting was created.

Invitation to Meeting - Parent Waiver

Fixed an issue with the Invitation to Meeting. Previously, when DocuSign was turned off, the Parent Waiver appeared with a checkbox. This has now been updated so that the checkbox beside “Only sign waiver below if school/district has indicated it is necessary” and “I do not consent to waive my rights” box and sentence no longer show up when DocuSign is off.
