EL Services Profile

An EL Services Profile is a comprehensive document that outlines the services provided to English Learners (ELs) within an educational program. These profiles are integral components of student information systems, specifically designed to monitor, manage, and report on the services and support that EL students receive. This ensures that they can effectively achieve their academic and linguistic goals.

When the page loads, all mandatory fields in this section are highlighted with a pink background. Once these fields are filled out, their background color changes to yellow. However, if any mandatory fields are left empty at the time of form submission, they will revert to a pink background.
For an EL Services Profile, all fields are mandatory except for the Narrative field.

EL Services

In this section, you must fill out the following fields:

Frequency	Define how often the EL classes must be conducted.	Out	Choose from the following options: 1 time per week 2 times per week 3 times per week 4 times per week
Duration (Time)	Define the class session duration (in minutes and hours).	Out	Choose from the following options: 30 minutes 45 minutes 1 hour 1 h 15 min 1 h 30 min 1 h 45 min 2 hours Other
Narrative	Write a descriptive text to explain your point.	Out	Enter open text.

For the Narrative section, you can capture details in two ways. First, you can write the text directly in the provided space using the text editor feature. Additionally, you can perform a thorough spell check on the entered text by using the icon.

Alternatively, you have the option to click the Speak Text icon to record a voice-over narration.
