General Education Student

A General Education Student Profile serves as the foundation for any educational and special education tracking. It contains core demographic, enrollment, and academic information about a student before any special education services are considered.

A General Education Student Profile is a digital record that includes the student’s:

  • Personal details

  • Enrollment information

  • School assignment

  • Grade level

  • Language and ethnicity data

  • Attending school information

It ensures that the student exists in the system before being evaluated or considered for SpED services.

  • The General Education Student Profile is the anchor for all additional data: IEPs, evaluations, interventions, and services.

  • It is usually synced from a Student Information System (SIS) and must exist before a student can be added to SpED modules.
