General Education Student
A General Education Student Profile serves as the foundation for any educational and special education tracking. It contains core demographic, enrollment, and academic information about a student before any special education services are considered.
A General Education Student Profile is a digital record that includes the student’s:
Personal details
Enrollment information
School assignment
Grade level
Language and ethnicity data
Attending school information
It ensures that the student exists in the system before being evaluated or considered for SpED services.
The General Education Student Profile is the anchor for all additional data: IEPs, evaluations, interventions, and services.
It is usually synced from a Student Information System (SIS) and must exist before a student can be added to SpED modules.
