Service Plan - Behavioral Intervention Plan

A Behavioral Intervention Plan (BIP) is a structured plan within an Individualized Education Program (IEP) that outlines strategies to address challenging behaviors that interfere with a student’s learning.

The BIP is developed based on data collected from a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) and includes proactive strategies, environmental modifications, and intervention techniques to support positive behavior.

A BIP is essential in supporting students with behavioral challenges. By proactively identifying behaviors, implementing targeted interventions, and monitoring progress, educators and support teams can create a positive and effective learning environment for students receiving Special Education (SPED) services.
