Eligibility Recommendation

Made the following changes to the Eligibility Recommendation document:

  • The Eligibility Outcome is automatically selected based on Assurance Statement answers.

  • If all five statements are marked as True, the system automatically selects the checkbox to determine the student's eligibility.

  • If none of the five statements are True, the system automatically selects the Not Eligible checkbox for the student.

  • If all four statements are True and the three checkboxes above the “A certified orientation…” for visual impairment are not selected, the system marks the student as Eligible.

  • If any of the three checkboxes for visual impairment evaluation statements above the ‘Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist Assessment’ checkbox are selected, the user must select the checkbox as True.

  • If the user selects False on the main question while at least one of the above three checkboxes is selected, the user will not be able to finalize the document or be allowed to change the status to review. False is only valid when the document is in Draft status. The user must select the main statement as True to finalize the document or set the document to Review status.

  • If the third statement, ‘A certified orientation…’ is marked as False, the system does not select the Eligible or Not Eligible checkbox. The system will display a sentence in red font after Not Eligible: The required Orientation and Mobility evaluation has not been completed.

  • If any of the four checkboxes are False when nothing is selected on the third assurance statement related to visual impairment, then the system will select Not Eligible. If the user selects any of the three sub-checkboxes above the third statement related to Visual Impairment, then the user must select True to count toward being eligible for special education.

  • Users will not be able to set the document to Review or Final unless the student is either Eligible or Not Eligible.

  • Corrected an issue where existing records were not updated when a new Plan of Care Medical Signature form was created instead of creating a new record.
