SPSM-MO_22.3.1.0 Release Notes

Updated the abbreviation for the Assessment Professional signer role during Digital Signature to a more user-friendly and acceptable abbreviation.

Added a new document titled Authorization for Release of Info at IEP Meeting to the Notices and Letters category.

• Updated the Demographic Information report within the District Reports category.
• The "Ethnic" field has been renamed to "Race" and now pulls data from the Race field.

Added Digital Signature functionality to the following documents:

• Authorization for Release of Info at IEP Meeting document
• Authorization to Invite Outside Agency
• Electronic Signature Form
• Evaluation REport
• Excusal of IEP TEam
• Pre-Meeting Form
• Prior Written Notice
• Procedural Safeguard Log

Fixed various flags so that they appear only when appropriate:

• The IEP flag will not appear if the student exits special education.
• The Gifted flag will not appear when the student exits the gifted program.
• The 504 flag will not appear when the student exits the 504 program.
• The ISP flag will appear when the Individualized Service Plan is active.

Added the following bullet point to Subsection 4b (below “Was the child determined eligible….”):

• Parent provided with Prior Written Notice for Initial Services.

Updated the Program Modifications and Accommodations area within the Services Section to be similar to the State’s revised version.

Removed the location field for "Parent and School Personnel Supports" to be similar to the State’s revised version.

Fixed an issue where the ‘Parent and School Personnel Supports' section was not displayed in the IEP at a Glance section.

Made the following changes to the Placement Considerations and Decision section:

• Updated the rules so that either or both of the following options can be selected:
  • Placement Continuum
  • Placement Options

Fixed an issue where the system was updating Profile information from outdated IEPs when the student had a current ISP and vice-versa.

Updated the statement under Parent referral within the Referral for Evaluation section to match the State's revised version.

"Notice of Action Refused" has been replaced by "Prior Written Notice."

• Added the following sections to the Student Profile:
  • RTI
  • RTI - Grades
  • Elem Grades
• Added RTI to the export report.

• Made the following changes to Section 504 - Plan:
  • The plan is not editable when the status is Final.
  • Moved the Office Use only area to a separate flyout section, which is editable when the status is Final.
  • Added the 504 Evaluation Date field under the Section 504 Meeting Date field. The field is populated from the Date of Section 504 Eligibility Meeting profile field. While the new field is editable, the edited dates will not flow back to the profile.
  • Added the 504 Evaluation Due Date field under Follow-up Meeting Date. An override option is now available.
• Made the following changes to Section 504 Written Notice/Consent:
  • The plan is not editable when the status is Final.
  • Moved the Office Use only area to a separate flyout section, which is editable when the status is Final.
• Made the following changes to Section 504 - Manifestation Determination Review:
  • The plan is not editable when the status is Final.
  • Moved the Office Use only area to a separate flyout section, which is editable when the status is Final.

Added the Initiation Date of IEP field to the Eligibility section. The Initiation Date of IEP will flow from a finalized IEP to this new field in the Student Profile.

Renamed the ID field to “MOSIS ID” to remove any potential confusion.

Added the Student ID search field. The Student ID is different from the MOSIS ID.
