  • Added the ‘BVI Assessment Summary’ section in the Student Information profile.

  • Finalized document fields flow into the new BVI Assessment Summary section.

FVLMA Profile

A new Functional Vision Learning Media Assessment (FVLMA) document is now available under Assessments. It follows mapping logic, supports draft/final states, prevents multiple drafts, and populates a new BVI Assessment Summary in Student Information upon finalization.

Updates to AACTSR

Updated the document to enhance organization, workflow, and labeling.

  • The document listing under "Applications - Assistive Technology" has been relocated as requested.

  • A new workflow feature lets creators transition documents from draft to review, improving process control.

  • The ‘Office Use’ section is now ‘Office Use - EDU- Program Development’ for better clarity.

  • Certain mandatory fields in the ‘Office Use’ section are now optional.

SPEDSM-116837

Updates to HSBMR

The document updates include wording changes.

A new category called "Home Teaching Application" has been created, moving the relevant content from the "Assessment" section and within this new category, the "High School Bursary Monthly Report" has been added. The word "his/her" has been changed to "the" for more inclusive language. Additionally, the principal field has been moved for better alignment, and a new workflow has been introduced. The creator now has the ability to set the document from draft to review, providing greater control over the document's progression. Finally, office-use updates were applied as specified to ensure consistency and improve usability.

Updates to PDIRA

The recent document updates include improving the layout and user experience. The start and end times have been adjusted to be closer together for better clarity.

Additionally, the phrase "if applicable" was added where necessary. The PPT members' listing was reformatted to match the IEP_SSP structure, categorizing members as Educators and Parents or guardians.

A statement was also moved to a more prominent position, and the name and date fields under the PPT section were removed and aligned at the bottom of the form. The title for the office use section was changed as outlined, and an "s" was added where appropriate for consistency. Finally, action changes for the office use section were made as specified. These updates help streamline the form layout and ensure consistency throughout.

The data entered in SpecificOutcomes in the repeating row ECCS2 should be available/visible to the user.

Updates to FVLMA

The mandatory fields have been defined, and all other fields are set to optional. The textboxes have been resized for better usability.

Action buttons have been moved to improve the layout. Additional textboxes have been added where necessary. Larger text fields for Medium and Reading Assessments have been introduced. For the User Acceptance Testing (UAT), please clarify if this update will be applied to production. If so, please ensure that the word "active" can be turned off in production environments.

Updates to the Consultation Summary document

The "Parent/Guardian" field has been updated to a text field instead of a dropdown. The Professional Credentials field is now optional. The consultation members section has been modified to allow for multiple members to be added. A larger text field has been added for the reason for the consultation request. The word "visits" has been changed to "visit" for consistency. The "Other Information" field has been expanded with a larger text field. Finally, the document now allows for multiple consultation summaries to be added as needed.

Additional Updates to ELPS

The documents have been moved to a new section in the dropdown list called "Early Learning" for easier access. The textbox size has been increased, and the optional section layout has been updated. Field sizes have been adjusted as needed. Changes have been made to Section C as outlined. The dropdown for contact information has been removed. Additionally, ID lookups have been removed from the document as requested.

Updates to ELPSS

The word "Inclusion" has been moved after "Childhood" for consistency. The textbox size has been increased, and the optional section layout has been updated. The mandatory date requirement has been removed. Changes have been made to Section D as outlined, with spelling errors corrected. Unnecessary boxes have been removed as specified. Updates have also been applied to Section F, as outlined. Finally, the long textbox for additional comments has been expanded.

Updates to AAT

The mandatory medical note requirement has been removed. Duplicate fields have been eliminated, and references to student accessibility have been removed. Language updates have been applied, including a sentence change appearing in both the New and Renewal applications, ensuring users see the update only once.

The document name has been updated in both the dropdown selection and the template for consistency. Additionally, “Student Accessibility Specify” has been removed as required.

Updates to AAT document

The AAT document has been updated for compliance with customer requirements. Sentence updates include revised consultation and application verification language. A spelling error in “application” has been corrected. The word “Personnel” has been added where needed. The renewal process for Adaptive Skills and SE/BSP support no longer includes a trial reference. Language updates have been made to the Renewal Teaching and Learning Form and Teaching and Learning Form for New Applicants (second sentences). Repetitive text appearing three times has been removed. The wording for students requiring SE/BSP (BMP) in new applications has been updated. Section updates have been applied as required. The program recommendation statement and EZ-ON Vest instructions have been revised. Lastly, the medical certificate requirement is no longer mandatory for new or renewal applications.

SPEDSM-119245

Additional Updates to AAT document

Language in verification sections has been refined, and “program planning” has been removed from the application statement. End users can now select either 1 or 2 for Parent/Guardian Disability, Student Accessibility, or Student Health Monitoring, with update #2 applied. The warning for medical information has been updated to display only for Parent/Guardian Disability and Student Requiring Health Monitoring, excluding Student Accessibility. Additionally, “Student Accessibility” has been removed where specified.

Updates to Early Learning Power School Summary

Email Field Validation

  • The email field now enforces proper formatting. If a user enters text that is not in a valid email format, an “Invalid Entry” error will be displayed.

Checkbox Label Formatting

  • Added a colon (after ‘Physical’ and ‘Social/Emotional’ checkboxes to ensure consistency with how other checkboxes are displayed.

Early Learning PowerSchool Consent Document

  • In the generated PDF, a page break has been added before Section D, ensuring the entire table displays on the next page for improved readability.
