Configure calendar

There are two types of information that you can configure on the calendar:

  • Calendar Tracks - A calendar track specifies which calendar days are in session, early dismissal, extended school year (ESY), or summer session. You can define one or more calendar tracks and link them to locations. Locations not linked to a calendar track use a default system-wide calendar track. Additionally, you can overwrite a calendar track for unique location events, such as snow days.

  • Special Calendar Days - Special calendar days represent all-day events such as holidays. You can configure special calendar days system-wide or location-wide. Special calendar days are directly linked to locations and not to tracks.

You must sign in as a security administrator to configure the calendar.
