You can add web-based resources to the help menu and control which security groups see those resources. For each customized help resource, you can add a name and a description and select whether to display a shortcut link to the help resource on the Home Page for those allowed to access the resource.

Log in as a system administrator.

From the Help menu, click Other Resources, then click Configure….

To add a new item, scroll down to the bottom of the Other Resources list, then click Add New Resource.

Add information for the new Help resource in the following fields:

Enter Resource Name - Enter a unique name to identify the resource in the list of links in the Help menu.

Category - Choose the category, if any, for the resource.

Enter Resource Description - Enter the description you want users to see when they hover over the link.

Show on Home Page as Shortcut - Select if you want to display a link to the resource on the Home Page for users with the proper security access.

Enter URL - If the file is hosted on the system, Enter the web address or the relative path, beginning with / (forward slash).

Allow Access By - Select each security group allowed to access the resource, or select All Security Groups to grant access to all security groups.

Click Accept to add the resource to the Help menu.
