Create a Personal Statement Bank

Add personal, pre-entered statements and insert them into any documents you create. If your security permissions allow it, you can also submit your personal statements to be included in the public library of statements.

Create a Personal Statement Bank

  1. Click the Insert icon above a narrative text area to open the Statements Bank window.
  2. Select Personal in the Owner field drop-down menu and click the Edit Statements link.
  3. Enter any statements you want to add to the Personal statements bank, separating each statement by pressing the Enter key.
    • To spell-check your statements, click the spell check icon.
    • Click a link in the Macros section at the bottom of the screen to insert a macro that performs automatic name or pronoun replacement.
  4. Click Save.

Submit Personal Statements to be Public

If your PowerSchool Special Programs system is configured to allow it, you can submit your personal statements to be included in the public library of statements.

  1. Click the insert icon above a narrative text area to open the Statements Bank window.
  2. Select Personal in the Owner field drop-down menu, and then click the Submit Statements link.
    • If this link does not appear, your system is not configured to allow it.
  3. Select the checkboxes next to the statements you want to submit.
  4. Enter comments explaining your submission (optional).
  5. Click Submit.
