Upload a File for a Resource

The system allows you to upload a file associated with a resource (e.g., a word processing document, PDF file, presentation file, etc.) to provide teachers with immediate access to the actual content of the resource.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The resource upload/download capability is for internal school documents only. You may not upload copyrighted material. Use of this capability is a special privilege not included in your contract, and it may be revoked if you upload copyrighted material.

  1. Make sure the file you want to upload is available on your desktop or in a convenient location on your local hard drive.
  2. Select Curriculum > Resource Library, and then select the curriculum and resource type for the resource.
  3. Expand curriculum statements as needed to find the statement that the resource is aligned to, and then click the checkmark icon.
  4. Click the magnifier icon to display the Library Detail for the resource for which you wish to upload the file.
  5. Click Upload File when ready to upload the file.
  6. On the Upload Graphic file window, click Select.
  7. Navigate to your file, and double-click it. Note the stated file size limit. Larger file sizes will be rejected.
  8. Click Accept to continue. The uploaded file displays on a confirmation window.
  9. Click Close to close it.

Other users can now download the file whenever they view the library details for the resource by clicking the download icon.
