SPEDSM-88797

Behavior Intervention Plan and Functional Behavior Assessment

Made the following changes to how the PowerSchool Special Programs UT State model handles Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) and Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA):

• The document previously known as Behavior Assessment and Intervention Plan [BEH] has been renamed to FBA and BIP - 2023.

• The document list for the student will display the FBA and BIP - 2023 template after this release.

• The latest DOE version updates the document template. Newer documents are on the latest version while existing ones are retired.

• The fly-out menu will have two sections: Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP).

Developmental Delay Eligibility Determination

Made the following changes to the Developmental Delay Eligibility Determination document:

• Updated the Developmental Delay Eligibility Determination document to the latest DOE version. Documents created after the release will be on the latest version. The existing document will be retired.

• Added new behavior option DisplayVisionHearingAssessment to determine if the Date of Vision Assessment and Date of Hearing assessment will be available on the document and user must provide the dates of assessments. The behavior option is set to False by default, thus not displaying the dates of Vision and Hearing Assessments on the document. The administrator can set the behavior option to True if the dates are expected to be on the developmental delay eligibility determination form.

Updated the Multiple Disabilities Eligibility Determination document to the latest DOE version. Any new documents created after the release will be on the latest version, while the existing ones will be retired.

Updated the PWN and Consent for Initial Placement document to the latest DOE version. Any new documents created after the release will be on the latest version, while the existing ones will be retired.

SPEDSM-90357

PWN of Revocation of Consent for Special Education and Related Services

Made the following changes to the PWN of Revocation of Consent for Special Education and Related Services document:

• As an optional section, added a new option for School Districts, Charter Schools, or Public Agency.

• The names of School or Agency staff will only be required if a Date is selected for the document.

• The Signature Date column displays the date when the digital signature is captured. If digital signature is not enabled, the Signature Date column will be blank.

• The Revocation received and Date will be updated on the Special Education Information profile, Special Education Exit section.

Updated the Speech Language Eligibility Determination document to the latest DOE version. Any new documents created after the release will be on the latest version, while the existing ones will be retired.

UAT Feedback - Multiple Disabilities Eligibility Determination Document

Made the following changes to the Multiple Disabilities Eligibility Determination document:

• The user must provide details for at least two Areas of Concerns Identified by the Group, to save the eligibility document.

• The Student Medical History section is updated to only capture the name of the Qualified Health Professional. The digital signature for the health professional is removed.

• The UI for the document templates is updated for better usability and readability. This includes the layout changes around the Signature grid for the participants.
