Emotional Behavioral Disability Form

Made the following changes to the Emotional Behavioral Disability Form:

• While changing the document status to Final, the system will validate if the Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) availability question under the Functional Behavior Assessment section is marked as Yes.

  • If it is marked as “No” the user will be displayed with a validation message asking that the question under the section Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), checking the availability of Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) should be marked as “Yes”.

  • The Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) question must be marked as “Yes” to finalize the form.

Prior Written Notice (PWN) Change of Placement - Participant Signatures

Made the following changes on Prior Written Notice (PWN) Change of Placement to allow or exclude parents/guardians/adult students from signing the form digitally.

• The Global profile configuration “Exclude Student Contacts, Adult Student from Digital Signature” determines whether the parents or guardians or adult student who participated via telephone, video conference, or other means, will be excluded from digital signature submission.

• The configuration is set to "Yes." By default, if the checkbox for 'Participate via telephone, video, etc.' is checked, the system does not include the parents or guardians or adult students participating by other means (not in person) for digital signature.

• The configuration should be set to No for schools that require the parents, guardians, or adult students to digitally sign the document even when not participating in person (e.g., participating online, via telephone, and so on).

• Once the global configuration changes, refresh the existing forms using the document options - More > Update from Student Profile.

• The configuration only applies to parents, guardians, or adult students. All staff or Minor Students added as participants and attending the meeting can digitally sign the document regardless of the attendance/ participation means.

Referral form

The Referral form is updated to support e-signatures using the PowerSchool Digital Signature.

The e-signatures will be supported only for the customers with active licenses to PowerSchool Digital Signature and Digital Signature configurations are enabled.

Self-Contained Resource Attendance Management (SCRAM)

Updated the Self-Contained Resource Attendance Management (SCRAM) document to the latest version shared by the State as of May 2023.

The changes will only apply to newly created documents, while all existing documents will remain in the previous format.

Keyword Table - SpecialEducationServices

The keyword table SpecialEducationServices, is updated to allow the Administrators to add descriptions for custom keywords.
