Indicator 11

Reporting Information

The report includes all Part B students initially evaluated where their 65-day Due Date is within the reporting period.

Menu Path

Choose Reports from the main navigation menu, then choose Advanced Reports. Click Indicator 11

Submission Period

The report must be submitted in August (the date varies from year to year) for the previous school year.

Report Field Descriptions and Criteria

Section 1

Report on evaluations and eligibility determinations completed within 65 business days.   

*Reporting Period = Globals: First Day of School and Last Day of School values.

Number of all Children Referred

Includes students where the Eligible field (located on the Eligibility profile) is blank, and the 65-Day Eligibility Timeline value (located on the Eligibility profile) is within the reporting period*.

OR

The student's Initial-Eligibility Date (located on the Eligibility profile) is within the reporting period*.

B

Number not included in the calculation due to withdrawal of consent, or any extenuating circumstance

Includes students with a blank Special Education Start Date (located on the Placement profile) and a Consent Withdrawn Date (located on the Indicator 11 profile) within the reporting period*.

OR

where the student's Initial-Eligibility Date (located on the Eligibility profile) is within the reporting period* and where the Special Education Start Date (located on the Placement profile) is blank, and the Enrollment Exit Date (located on the Placement profile) is within the reporting period*.

C

The number was not included in the calculation because the parent repeatedly failed or refused to make the child available

Includes students whose Initial Eligibility Date (located on the Eligibility profile) is within the current school year and has extended past the 65-Day Eligibility Timeline value (located on the Eligibility profile) and where the Delay Reason (located on the Indicator 11 profile) is either Child Not Available or the Parent has repeatedly failed or refused to make their child available.

The number not included in the calculation because students enrolled after the 65-day timeframe has started and before determination by the previous public agency. Receiving LEA made sufficient progress to complete the evaluation, and the parent and LEA agreed to a specific time to complete the evaluation (All conditions must be met)

Includes students whose Initial Eligibility Date (located on the Eligibility profile) is within the current school year and the Enrollment Start Date (located on the Demographic profile) is after the 65 Day Timeline value (located on the Eligibility profile), and the Initial Evaluation Date (located on the Eligibility profile) is after the Enrollment Start Date (located on the Demographic profile), and the Delay Reason (located on the Indicator 11 profile) is Consent Rcvd Timeline Ext. Transfer Student.

E

The number not included in the calculation because the parent and eligibility group agreed in writing to extend the 65-day timeline to obtain additional data that cannot be obtained within the 65 business days

Includes students whose Initial Eligibility Date (located on the Eligibility profile) is within the current school year and after the 65-Day Timeline value (located on the Eligibility profile) and the Delay Reason (located on the Indicator 11 profile) is Parents and group agree to extend the 65-day timeline.
