SPEDSM-42677Demographic Profile: Parents/Contacts

Updated the Unlimited Contacts script to clear the four demographic parents/contacts and re-load them from the Student Contacts profile, removing any parent/contact if they are removed from the PowerSchool SIS.

SPEDSM-40850Eligibility Summary
  • Added a non-lookup for Special Education Teacher.
  • When the user selects "Reeval" at the top of the form, selects "the child has or continues to have a disability" check box, and the disabilities on the Eligibility profile match the disabilities in the same priority as the profile, then the full Consent to Proposed Change area including signature area is hidden.
  • Removed the form behavior option called ConsenttoProposedChange as the Consent to Proposed section will be displayed or hidden depending on how the user completes the form.
SPEDSM-36365Globals IEP Wizard

Removed the Goal Wizard item from the GUI on the Globals profile as the wizard is not used in the IEP [IEP] form.

  • On the ESY section of the IEP form, corrected an issue where the objective text did not appear on the ESY section of the form. The goal area will now print before the goal text.
  • On the goal page, the ESY "Yes"/"No" check box was moved over to the left closer to the goal heading.

  • Updated the Percentage Special Education Service by Disability Category column on the Services LRE Placement section to use the building minutes per week, comparing the student's age to use minutes per week or half-day minutes.
  • The "Special Ed Secondary Disability Service Percent of Day" and "Special Ed Third Disability Service Percent of Day" values are now blank (rather than report a 0) when the student does not have a secondary or tertiary disability.
SPEDSM-39087Indicator 11 Report and Profile Changes
  • Profile Changes: Added "65 Day Eligibility Timeline" field under Referral Date. Calculated field adds 65 days from the referral day. Removed the existing field labeled "Initial Eligibility Date." Removed the data flow from the Worksheet forms that flowed the date to the InitIEPClassifDate field. Re-labeled "Initial Evaluation Date" to "Initial Eligibility Date."
  • Keyword table: Added "Consent Rcvd Timeline Ext. Transfer Student" to the DelayReasons keyword table. Updated the existing value called Late Referral to Late Referral due to Part C/B Issues and set the Indicator11 column to Yes.
  • Indicator 11 Report:
    • Updated column A to include students where the Eligible value is blank, and the 65 due date is within the current school year, or where the Initial Eligibility Date is within the school year.
    • Updated column B to include students where the special ed start date is blank and their Consent Withdrawn date on the Indicator 11 profile is within the current school year, or the Initial Eligibility date is blank, and the 65-day due date is within the current school year, and the special ed start date is blank, and the enrollment exit date is within the current school year.
    • Updated column C to include students where the Initial Eligibility date is within the current school year and greater than the 65-day due date and the delay reason on the Indicator 11 profile is either Child Not Available or Parent repeatedly failed or refused to make the child available.
    • Updated column D to include students where the Initial Eligibility date is within the current school year and the enrollment start date is after the 65-day due date, and the Initial Eligibility date is greater than the enrollment start date, and the delay reason on the Indicator 11 profile is equal to "Consent Rcvd Timeline Ext Transfer Student".
    • Updated column E to include students where the Initial Eligibility date is within the current school year and is greater than the 65-day due date, and the delay reason on the Indicator 11 profile is equal to "Parent and Group agree to extended the 65 day timeline".
    • Updated column H to include students where the Initial Eligibility date is within the current school year and where the Initial Eligibility date is less than or equal to the 65-day due date.
    • Updated column J to include students where the Initial Eligibility date is within the current school year and where the Initial Eligibility date is greater than the 65-day due date.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. To run the report, navigate to Reporting, Advanced Reporting, and then Indicator 11.
  2. Click Process Schedule, Process Now in Foreground, and then OK.
  3. The report will display. The user can click on any of the totals to drill into the student detail.
  4. To re-run the report, click "Unprocess," then "Process Schedule."

When the user selects the "Medical report..." check box, two options display labeled "Division/School Provided (at no cost to parent)" and "Parent Provided." User must select one or the other.

Retired the Prior Written Notice template as the Prior Notice (PN) is the form to use.
