Amending a Legacy Service Plan

This page describes the steps needed to create an amended Service Plan when the Service Plan was not created in PowerSchool Special Programs, where a student with an existing Service Plan was migrated from a previous system after July 1, 2023.

Create Service Plan

1. When migrating to the PowerSchool Special Programs application, a student with an existing active Service Plan has a PDF of the document created in the previous system.

2. Using the PDF document as a reference, create a new Service Plan.

3. Enter all required information in the document template from the PDF document, making an exact duplicate of the PDF’s contents.

4. When the document content is the same as the PDF, finalize the document.

5. Follow the instructions for amending a Service Plan.
