Education Environments (School Age)
The Education Environments (School Age) report helps determine the instructional setting where a student with an IEP (Individualized Education Program) receives special education services. This setting is critical for federal reporting (IDEA Part B) and ensures that students are educated in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) appropriate to their needs.
Submission requirements
This report includes students whose data is current during the APR5 reporting period and who do not have a more recent IEP record within the same period. Specifically, it lists students for whom no newer IEP exists in the IEPHistories table where the start date of the outer record is earlier than the start date of any matching inner IEP record for the same student. This ensures that only the most current IEP record for each student during APR5 is considered.
Generate report
From the Reporting menu, choose Advanced report.
Click APR/SPPs Advanced Reports, then click Educational Environments (School Age).
Enter a Start Date and End Date for the reporting duration.
Click Update Report with Values.
