Exit from English Learner Program

The Exit from EL Program Letter notifies parents that their child has demonstrated English proficiency based on the WIDA assessment and no longer requires EL services. It outlines the student's performance in key language domains and informs parents that the child will no longer take the annual WIDA assessment but will be monitored for two years to ensure a smooth transition into the regular education program.
