Add Security to a Report

Add security to a report to control which security groups can access a particular public standard report.

  1. Open the report, and click Edit Report.
  2. Click Security.
  3. On the Security for Public Report page, select the security groups that should be allowed to view the report. Be aware that any groups that have security permissions to create/edit public reports can view all public reports regardless of any changes you make here.
  4. Click Accept to save the changes.

Add Security to Multiple Reports

Provided that reports are organized into categories with similar security requirements, you can change the security for a category of reports.

  1. Choose Standard Reports from the main menu, and then select Set Reports Properties from the Utilities menu.
  2. To apply security to a report category, the ellipsis (…) icon next to the category to view the list of options, and then select Security.
  3. On the Security for Category page, select the access each security group should have to all reports in this category. If Mixed is displayed for a security group, the security group currently has access to some of the reports in the category, but not all of them.
  4. Click Accept.
