ILP Part 3: Goals
This document helps set and manage educational goals for students in specialized programs, such as English Language Learner (ELL) services. It ensures that goals align with each student’s needs, supporting academic growth while meeting state guidelines.
Domain Proficiency Level
A Domain Proficiency Level refers to a student's level of competence within a specific domain or area of learning, such as language acquisition, mathematics, or science. It measures how well the learner has mastered the skills and knowledge associated with that particular domain.
Proficiency Level Descriptors
Proficiency Level Descriptors (PLDs) define the stages of language proficiency or subject-matter competence that students reach. They outline what students are capable of at each level, providing educators with a standardized way to assess performance.
