Individualized Learning Plan (ILP)
Overview
An Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) is a locally developed document that outlines strategies, instructional and assessment accommodations, modifications, goals, proficiency levels, assessment data, and EL services, including program model and frequency. ILP must be created for each EL student enrolled in a school or district and implemented with fidelity by all teachers and staff working with the student. ILPs must be reviewed at least annually to reflect language proficiency growth and updated as needed to address student needs.
