IEP, Goals, and Service Records Profile

Goals Profile Enhancements:

• The Goals Profile now displays only goals from the current IEP, clearly marked with an "Active" flag.

• Active = Yes for goals with an IEP End Date in the present or future — these goals are editable within the profile.

• Goals from prior IEPs will be marked Active = No, appear below active goals, and are read-only.

• The goal grid has been reordered for better readability, with the following columns:

  • IEP Meeting Date, IEP Start Date, IEP End Date, Goal Number, Area, Measurable Goal, Active (Yes/No)

• The main profile view has also been restructured to match this new grid layout.

• The header of each goal record now displays as Goal > [Goal Number] for clarity.

IEP to Goals Profile Dataflow Improvements:

• System logic now ensures no duplicate goals are added when revising IEPs.

• On IEP Revision Finalization:

  • All the goals from the latest revision document are inserted into the profile

  • Goals from the original IEP are removed to avoid duplicates.

• On Original IEP Finalization:

  • Any goals from earlier/ended IEPs are marked read-only.

  • The new goals are added to the profile based on the finalized IEP details.

• If an IEP revision includes date changes, the system automatically updates the profile by removing outdated goals and inserting new ones tied to the revised dates.

Service Records – Goal Lookup Enhancements:

• The Goals lookup now shows only active goals from the current school year, ensuring accuracy and relevance.

• Users can now link multiple goals (up to 10) to a single service record using repeating rows for easy selection.

• The lookup grid has been reordered for clarity with these columns:

  • Goal Number, IEP Meeting Date, IEP Start Date, IEP End Date, Area, Measurable Goal

Keyword Table: SubtestGMEC

As per recent state guidelines, updates have been made to the KW table - SubtestGMEC to reflect the revised naming conventions for math and literature assessments and to improve usability.

Sub-tests listed in the KW table are now sorted alphabetically for easier navigation and consistency.

Administrators now have the ability to edit and update the keywords as needed for any future changes or state-required adjustments.

Special Education Eligibility Report

Updated the stylized text areas in the Summary section to allow users to embed images along with text when entering findings.

The "Summary of Interventions Prior to Referral" and "Summary of Progress Monitoring Data Toward Achieving Standards" text boxes have been enhanced to support this functionality.

IEP Services

The Service Providers dropdown on the IEP Services page has been updated to include "Behavior Specialist" as a selectable option.

If a specific provider type is not listed in the dropdown, users are encouraged to select “Other” and manually enter the appropriate value.

Special Education Eligibility Report

Special Education Eligibility Report – Signature Grid Update:

• The Team Member Present*Team Member Signature column with Yes/No checkboxes will appear only when Electronic Signature is disabled.

• In this case, the column allows staff to indicate team members’ attendance by manually selecting Yes/No.

• When Electronic Signature is enabled, the column displays the captured digital signatures of team members marking their attendance via digital signature.
