Revision Block for Prior Year Documents

To improve system performance and support proper workflows, we’ve implemented a new rule that prevents users from creating revisions on documents from prior school years.

What’s New:

• Users will no longer be able to create a revision for documents that are not in the current school year.

• If attempted, the system will show an error message instructing users to use the Copy function instead.

APLP Document – Data Flow Update

We have updated the data flow behavior for the Personalized Learning Plan (APLP) document based on customer feedback.

What’s Changed:

For the ‘PLP-Accommodated’ and ‘Partial Day Plan’ sections, the following fields will now only flow back to the student profile upon document finalization:

• PLPAccomStartDate

• PLPAccomEndDate

• PLPPartDayStartDate

• PLPPartDayEndDate

APLP Document

We’ve made updates to labels in the PLP-Adjusted Curriculum and Adjusted Curriculum Progress Reporting sections of the APLP document. These changes help align with updated curriculum standards and improve clarity for staff.

PLP-Adjusted Curriculum (Repeating: CGoal)

• Updated instructional labels and descriptions to reflect:

  • Clear reference to the Holistic Curriculum.

  • Use of new terminology like Strand: Big Idea, Skill Descriptor, and Achievement Indicator.

• The field previously labeled “Description of Changed Achievement Indicator or SCO” is now:

  • New Personalized Learning Objective (written in SMART Language).

• Added a definition of SMART goals and a sample SMART objective for better guidance.

Adjusted Curriculum Progress Reporting (Repeating: CGoal)

• Similar updates made to titles for consistency:

  • Strand/Big Idea

  • Skill Descriptor

  • New Personalized Learning Objective

Document Name Update – Independence Assessment

Updated the document details to reflect the current name Independence Assessment.

• The Document Name and Template ID have been updated from NA to IA.

• The Section Name now shows the Independence Assessment.

• The Document Heading has been changed from Needs Assessment to Independence Assessment.

Revision Restriction by School Year – Independence Assessment Document

We’ve added validation to ensure that revisions for the Independence Assessment document are created in the correct school year.

What’s New:

• If a user tries to create a revision for a past or future school year, the system will now block the action.

• An error message will appear, instructing the user to create the document in the current school year.

Add 'Program of Study' to Multiple Documents

We have added a new hidden field (for reporting purposes only) to the following documents, which links to the ProgramAnglo field from the student profile. This will allow reports to consistently display the student’s program of study without requiring any additional input from end users.

• ESS Request for Services

• Newcomer Support and Transition Plan

Note:
The new field will not be visible to end users but will ensure complete and accurate reporting.

Attachment Field Enhancement – APLP Document

We’ve made improvements to how attachments work in the APLP document to ensure they are correctly placed and displayed.

What’s New:

• The Attachment field is now used only in the Justification Summary section as intended.

• A new file upload field has been created and linked specifically to the Signature section.

• Attachments can now be uploaded in both individual and repeating rows, and they will only show in their respective sections.

The copy function has been updated to ensure that the Membres Permanents de l'Équipe Stratégique table is not duplicated and that the Personnes Présentes entries remain intact when new staff are added.
