Annual Review Meeting Advance Letter

Added a new Annual Review Meeting Advance Letter (Template ID: ARMtgAdv) to the IEP document folder to support sharing draft Present Levels of Performance with parents/guardians before an Annual Review IEP meeting.

The letter includes a dedicated Academic Achievement flyout that uses the corresponding IEP section, and the system prevents the creation of multiple draft versions by allowing only one non-finalized letter per student at a time.

IEP Required Section Compliance Updates

Updated the New Jersey IEP to enforce required section selection and removal rules for state compliance.

Users must select either Goals and Progress Report or Goals Option 2 and Progress Report Option 2, and cannot select or combine both versions.

Required IEP sections can no longer be removed from new or existing unfinalized IEPs through Set Document > Sections.

Additionally, the section name "IEP Snap Shot" has been corrected to "IEP Snapshot" to align with state terminology.

IEP Document Enhancements and Validation Updates

Global Updates (All Sections)

• Added Student ID, Meeting Date, and Amendment Date (when applicable) to the document header after the student name.

• Updated the footer across all sections to display "Revised August 2023".

Cover Page Enhancements

• Corrected alignment of the Initial Eligibility Information and Related Services section headings.

• Updated the label "Ethnic" to "Ethnicity".

• Added validation preventing users from saving when the IEP Meeting Date is later than the IEP Start Date.

• Added a requirement for IEP End Date before the document can be moved to Review or Final status.

• Added validation preventing the IEP End Date from exceeding 365 days from the IEP Meeting Date.

• Updated Initial Eligibility Information requirements so the section is required only when IEP Type = Initial IEP.

IEP Meeting Participants

• Made General Education Teacher, Special Education Teacher, Child Study Team Member, and School Representative required participants.

• Updated instructional text and asterisk indicators to align with state requirements.

Transfer of Rights

• Updated transfer of rights language and replaced references to "eighteen" with "18" to match the state form.

Goals Section

• Suppressed display of Grade, Strand, and Standard fields in print and view modes.

Determinations Section

• Added a required "Describe the ESY Program" text field that displays when ESY Program = Yes.

Present Levels Section

• Added the missing state-required checkbox option and supporting functionality.

• When selected, a corresponding narrative field is required, consistent with existing checkbox behavior.

Progress Report Section

• Restricted progress reporting entry and editing to documents in Final status only.

• Added guidance text in Draft and Review statuses indicating that progress reporting is unavailable until finalization.

Graduation Requirements Section

• Updated column wording to align with state terminology.

• Modified validation logic to require a rationale whenever an exemption checkbox is selected.

• Added the validation message: "Provide a rationale for the exemption."

Program Description Section

• Updated validation messaging for services with start dates before the IEP Start Date.

• Renamed the flyout label "Notice Reqs" to "Notice Requirements".

Document Actions

• Updated the Related Services validation message to identify required Service clearly, Group (when applicable), and Start/End Date information.

IEP Review Flyout

• Updated the I/We checkbox to be read-only within the document and editable only through the digital signature process.
