CALPADS Redesign

If an eligible student's parent does not consent to an IEP, their status in SWDS is ‘Eligible and Not Participating.’

CALPADS Student SSID

Updated the Student SSID in all CALPADS files from the student demographic.

SPEDSM-79299

Document: IEP

Modified the Team Action section. The date, checkboxes, and corresponding text box fields are now editable after the document has been finalized and unfinalized while the document is in draft or review status.

SPEDSM-91768

Document: Section 504 Plan

  • Removed the checkboxes under 'Team Members' in view/print modes of Section 504 Plan

  • Changed the label  ‘Accommodations/Support’ to 'Accommodations/Supports.'

  • Changed the label ‘Who at the District is Responsible’ to ‘Who at the Site/District will implement.’

  • Changed the text to read ‘Plan’ instead of ‘IEP.’

  • Removed the ‘Other: Alternate State-Wide/District-Wide Assessment' checkbox.

SPEDSM-92196

Report: CALPADS MEETings

  • Referral Date and Referral Party Code should be blank when the Meeting Activity-Plan Review Indicator is set to Yes.

  • A single record per student is to be shown when the Initial IEP is not completed within the Fall1/EOY4 reporting period.

  • The following codes will appear:

    • Initial part B evaluation = 10

    • Initial part C =15

    • Re-evaluation = 40

Report: CALPADS PLAN

  • Modified the report to display unique records for students.

  • Removed the Parent/Guardian Plan Approval Type Code from the following reports:

    • CALPADS PLANs - End of Year 4

    • CALPADS PLANs - Fall 1

SPEDSM-90996

Report: CALPADS SWDS - Fall 1

Modified the report to display students with effective and start dates between the first day of school and the count date.
