The following fields have been added to the CALPADS PLAN file for IFSP records.

When a student is deemed ineligible, the following CALPADS records are created

• SWDS Record is created:

  • Status: 4 - Not Eligible

  • Non-Participation Reason: 30 - No Longer Eligible

• CALPADSMeeting record is created

  • Evaluation Type Code: 40 - Eligibility Reevaluation

  • Plan Review Indicator: N

  • Meeting Date: Eligibility Reevaluation Date

  • Evaluation Outcome Code: 55 - No Longer Eligible

Document: Individualized Education Program

1. Goals and Services sections are removed for ineligible students in an IEP, and the IEP At a Glance section excludes goals and services.

2. Area of concern checkboxes are required when their optional textboxes in the PLAAFP 2 section are filled under the IEP document

3. Accommodations and Designated Supports Options for the California Alternate Assessments have been updated under the Special Factors section of the IEP document

The following Accommodations and Designated Supports Options have been added:

• 40 - California Alternate Assessment (CAA) for English

• 50 - California Alternate Assessment (CAA) for Mathematics

• 60 - California Alternate Assessment (CAA) for Science.

4. Selecting "Alternate English Language Proficiency Assessment" under "Type of support/accommodations" in the IEP section "Special Factors" no longer includes ELPAC exemptions in "Assessment Type."

5. Student eligibility status in the profile stays the same when a parent declines consent during a Triennial ReEvaluation.

Document: Assessment Plan & Prior Written Notice

1. The Assessment Plan Signature Page now states, "I have received the Notice of Procedural Safeguards enclosed with this plan" instead of "I have read and understand the Notice of Procedural Safeguards enclosed with this plan,"

2. Parent acknowledgement fields must be completed in the Assessment Plan Signature Page to finalize the document.
