Indiana: Legacy Goal and Accommodations Profile Removed

The "Legacy Goal and Accommodations" profile, which was used for the initial data transfer, has been removed from the Indiana Special Programs configuration. This cleanup removes an outdated profile that is no longer needed.

Indiana: IEP – New Corporation of Legal Settlement Section Added

A new "Corporation of Legal Settlement" section has been added to the Indiana IEP. When the "Corporation of Legal Settlement" checkbox is selected in the LRE section, a new section is generated that captures the Corporation of Legal Settlement and Code, School of Legal Settlement and Code, and optionally the Educating District/School and Next Projected Educating Program or School. All fields in this section are optional and do not block saving or finalizing the IEP.

Indiana: 2026/2027 Accommodations Keyword Table Updated

The Indiana Accommodations Keyword Table has been updated for the 2026/2027 school year. New keyword rows have been added and existing values updated to align with IDOE requirements. The integration UAT environment (IDOEXX73) has been updated with the new table to support testing of the updated Accommodations Integration into DEX.

Indiana: Integration Export Row Counts Now Display Correctly

Resolved an issue where exports in Integration > Exports were incorrectly classified under the PowerSchool SIS API due to a legacy dummy integration record, causing row count values to appear blank. Exports are now correctly classified as Ed-Fi data source and display accurate row counts, improving visibility for state reporting and validation workflows.

Indiana: Missing IAM Accommodations Added for Grade 4 Life and Physical Sciences

Two IAM accommodations that were missing from the Grade 4 Life and Physical Sciences assessment subject have been added: "Student is tested individually" and "Student has text read aloud by a human reader." Additionally, "Student has text read aloud by a human reader" has been added to the Mathematics and English assessment subjects. These additions were confirmed with IDOE.

Indiana: IEP Runtime Error on Open Resolved for Students with Large Child Record Counts

Resolved a runtime error that occurred when opening the IEP for students with a large number of child records. Document actions have been adjusted to prevent the error, ensuring the IEP opens successfully for all students regardless of child record volume.

Indiana: IEP and Service Plan Auto-Label Added on Finalization for Ineligible/Termination

When an Indiana IEP or Service Plan document includes a Notice of Ineligibility/Termination section and the student is found Not Eligible, the label "(Ineligible/Termination)" is now automatically appended to the document upon finalization. This provides clear identification of documents associated with ineligibility or termination of eligibility determinations.

Indiana: Primary Eligibility Area Moved to Header of Eligibility Determination Page

The "Primary Eligibility Area" field on the Indiana IEP Eligibility Determination page has been relocated to the header section, now appearing on the same row as Student, STN, and Effective Date. This change improves visibility of key eligibility information and provides easier access during eligibility determination workflows.

Indiana: IEP Accommodations Section Redesigned for Multi-Select Entry

The Indiana IEP Accommodations section has been redesigned to improve efficiency. After selecting Subject, Grade, and Accommodation Type, all available accommodations are now displayed as checkboxes, allowing users to select multiple accommodations in a single interaction. Upon saving, the system creates individual child records for each selected accommodation. Duplicate records are prevented, and existing accommodation data and reports are unaffected.

Indiana: IEP Notice of Ineligibility Section Updated to Include Conference Participants

The Indiana IEP Notice of Ineligibility/Termination of Eligibility section has been updated to allow staff to document conference participants when a student is found ineligible. Sections that are not applicable for ineligible students are now hidden, while sections relevant to eligible students continue to display as before.

The Evaluation Information and Student Data section on the Indiana IEP Cover Page is now editable when the IEP is in a revised state. Previously, these fields were read-only for revised IEPs, preventing users from making necessary updates. Users can now edit this section regardless of revision status.

Indiana: IEP Revision Section Now Updates Correctly When NCC is Created

Resolved an issue where the IEP Revision section was not being updated when a Notice of Conference Change (NCC) document was created. The document action trigger has been corrected to fire when the document is opened, ensuring the IEP Revision section reflects the correct data.

Indiana: SE Program Profile Exit Date and Reason Now Synced with SPED Exit Data

The Special Education Program Profile has been updated so that the Program Exit Date and Program Exit Reason always match the SPED Exit Date and SPED Exit Reason. This ensures data consistency between the program profile and the student's special education exit information.

For the Indiana Notice of Evaluation document, all Document Delivery fields are now required when the "Parent Will Sign Paper Copy" option is selected. This ensures complete documentation of paper copy delivery before the document can reach Final status.

Indiana: ILP Accommodations – Good Cause Exemption Fields Added

Two new fields have been added to the Individual Learning Plan (ILP) Part II: Accommodations and Services section: "Was the student granted a Good Cause Exemption (GCE)?" and "When was good cause exemption granted?" These fields appear above the ILP Accommodations table and support documentation of GCE status for applicable students.

Resolved an issue where the Initial IEP Consent Date was incorrectly being derived from the Document Delivery date instead of the Case Conference Meeting Scheduled Date. The Evaluation Timeline will now correctly use the conference date as the start date for timeline calculations, ensuring accurate compliance tracking.

Indiana: Eligibility Status Now Reflects Parent Response

The Eligibility Status displayed in the Special Education Information section now accounts for both the IEP Eligibility Determination and the Parent Response. Students whose parents decline services will now be accurately reflected with the appropriate eligibility status. Additionally, the data flow has been updated so that the Case Conference Meeting Scheduled Date populates the Initial Consent to Implement IEP Date field, replacing the previous behavior of using the Document Delivery Parent Response Date.

Indiana: Digital Signature No Longer Requires 'In Attendance' Status (IEP & Service Plan)

The Indiana IEP and Service Plan Signature Page has been updated to remove the requirement that participants be marked "In Attendance" before they can be sent a document for digital signature. All participants with a valid email address are now eligible to receive digital signature requests, regardless of their attendance status. The "In Attendance" field continues to be saved for state reporting and meeting summary purposes.

Indiana: IEP Accommodations – No Accommodation Child Records Created for DEX Export

Updated the Indiana IEP Accommodations section to automatically create the required child records when "No Accommodation Needed" is selected for WIDA assessments, enabling proper export to DEX. Additionally, the 2026/2027 accommodations keyword table has been updated with revised descriptions, InUse status corrections, and new SAT accommodation entries per IDOE guidance.

Resolved an issue where finalizing a Service Plan document caused existing IEP Accommodation records to be duplicated. Previously, if a student had 20 accommodation records, finalization would result in 40 records appearing in the profile. Accommodation records are now preserved correctly upon finalization.
