Updates to IEP Workflow and Configuration corrections

  • The Office Use section is now restricted to Review status, preventing access or edits during Draft, as intended.

  • The spelling of “behaviors” is now corrected to “behaviours,” and a new mandatory Yes/No field for adult accompaniment is now added in the Partial Day Individual Run Application.

  • Changes to the EDU notifications, removal of the Summary of Comprehensive Assessment Findings, and the handling of the Special Education Exit Date & Reason fields are now complete, with the latter set to remain blank and non-required.

New curriculum items aligned to the updated standards are now added to the system. This is added only for testing purpose and not configured to any of the documents.

Updates to Record of Intervention document

  • When the Tiered Approach to Learning is system-generated, users can now move the RTL Record from Draft or Review to Final without receiving validation errors related to that section.

  • Auto populated flyout content does not require users to manually open the Tiered Approach to Learning and select “Save Done Editing” in order to finalize.

Updates to Alerts and Special Education Exit section

  • The Special Education Exit section is now successfully hidden from view and print modes, remaining accessible only in edit mode, which is now read-only.

  • The Tiered Approach to Learning section now allows document finalization without opening the flyout or clicking Save Done Editing, as the section is view-only.

  • The IS_RTL tag is now retired, associated RTL document actions disabled, and RTL records deleted, with the RTL tag removal confirmed rather than renaming to ROI.

  • New IS_ROI profile tag is now created, configured with document actions for IEP and assessment reports, and the IS_ROI column added to PowerSchool Alert Export, with alerts now appearing correctly in the spreadsheet output.

Updates to documents

  • The system was updated to allow creation of future-year documents that are separate from current-year documents, with no impact on existing documents.

  • The grade field remains editable and defaults from the profile at creation, but cannot be automatically populated for future years to avoid issues, as confirmed by the team.

  • This has been implemented for below documents as of now :

    • Student Assistant Support Application

    • Individualized Transportation Student Application

    • Medical Information for New Applicants

    • Partial Day and/or Individual Run Application

Restrict PDIRA Document Access to Students with a Finalized AAT

Users can now create a Partial Day Individual Run Application (PDIRA) document only if a finalized AAT (Individualized Transportation Student Application) document is present in the system for the same school year in which the PDIRA is being created.

Updates to Special Education Exit section

  • Data is now cleared for two fields ‘Special Education Exit Date’ and ‘Special Education Exit Reason’ in the Special Education Exit section for all the current and historical student records.

  • Total 518 student records will be affected.

  • Two separate backend fields are created for ‘Special Education Exit Date’ and ‘Special Education Exit Reason’ to store the deleted data. These fields are not visible in the UI.
