SPEDSM-115214

Manifestation Determination Review (MDR)

Made the following changes to the Manifestation Determination Review [MDR] form:

• A new behavior option called JustificationRequiredAlways has been added to the Manifestation Determination Review (MDR) form.

  • This option controls whether the justification textbox under Team Findings is always required or only required when the statements/questions are marked as Yes.

  • The behavior option is set to False by default, meaning the justification textbox will only appear and be required when Yes is selected.

  • When the option is set to True, the justification textbox will always be displayed and required, regardless of the selected answer (Yes/No) under Team Findings.

  • Schools and districts that require justifications for all responses in the Team Findings section should set the JustificationRequiredAlways behavior option to True.

ExceptionalityTable Keyword Table

The ExceptionalityTable has been updated to reflect changes in keyword descriptions. Specifically, the keyword description for the autism disability has been updated from "Autistic/Autism" to "Autism".

School Age IEP - Progress Report

Fixed the issue where the system was populating the past dates while adding new Progress Report records.

The system is corrected to populate the current date when a user adds a new progress report record.

Notice of Recommended Assignment (NORA

Updated the Notice of Recommended Assignment (NORA) form so parents/guardians can sign it and add initials to submit the electronic signature.

PSSP-PS SIS Integration: PIMS Location Code

The state model and integration imports are updated to pull the correct value of PIMS Location from PowerSchool SIS into the PSSP PIMS profile.

The system will fetch the PIMS Location from the Schools-PIMS_Location_Code in PowerSchool SIS instead of School_number'

Made the following changes to the Location Profile:

• A new field labeled ‘PIMS Location Code’ is added to store the PIMS Location Code for the Location/School. It can be the same or different than the Location ID.

Made the following changes to the PIMS Profile:

• The PIMS location will be stored in the Location Profile.

  • When integrated, the PIMS Location ID field will be the same as the PIMS Location Code in SIS(Schools table - PIMS_Location_Code.)

• While editing the PSSP PIMS profile, if Lookup is used for Location, the PIMS Location Code of the selected location will be displayed.

PIMS reports are corrected to show the appropriate PIMS Location Code from the PIMS profile.

School Age IEP: Progress Report - Short Tem Objectives

The Dates in the Short-Term Objectives section of the Progress Report within the IEP are now editable.

When a new objective is added, the system will automatically set the date to the current date by default. Users can modify the date as needed.

Medical Assistance Program Billing Consent form

Made the following changes to the Medical Assistance Program Billing Consent form:

• The parents/guardians who checked ‘Yes’ to Receive letters in the Demographics profile will now be listed on the form.

• Users can select the appropriate student contacts to submit for signature and obtain consent.

504 Plan

Made the following changes to 504 Plan form to allow staff to review and acknowledge the plan.

• The Office Use Only section is added as a separate section.

• The section will be added when the document is finalized. The user must add the section while finalizing the document but does not need to complete it.

• The section will be editable after finalizing the document.

• Staff with the required permissions to review and acknowledge will be able to acknowledge the 504 plan.

• Changes will be applied to newly created forms only after this release.

Permission to Evaluate Form (Gifted)

The Date of Receipt of Permission to Evaluate will be updated on the Gifted profile when the user updates the date after the document is set to Final Status.
