Date of Initial IEP Data Clearing

Fixed an issue where the Date of Initial IEP was being removed from the special education profile when an Initial IEP was amended (revised) and when an annual IEP was finalized.

Data Remediation: PowerSchool will restore the Initial IEP Date on the Special Education Profile.

IEP at a Glance Document Behavior

Changed the behavior of the IEP at a Glance document from creating with every IEP document and IEP revision to only generating from the original IEP or an IEP Amendment that includes changes to the Service section.

ACAP Document Revision Management

Updated the ACAP Supports Form for documents created prior to the addition of start and end date fields (April 2025) to include those fields when in revision. PowerSchool will autofill the start dates to match the form implementation date.

Reorganized the Notice and Eligibility Document section to display in the correct order: Assessments, SLD, and Eligibility Decision.

State Accommodations Profile and ACAP Testing Supports Form Updates

Added unique key restrictions to the Student State Accommodations Profile to eliminate duplicate values. The system will validate against the assessment name, subject, accommodation, and start date.

Enabled the profile property “Eligible for Transfer Envelopes” in the State Accommodations Profile.

Updated the ACAP Testing Supports Form to display values from the original document as read only during revisions. The system allows users to enter an end date if necessary.

Updated the ACAP Testing Supports Form to prevent values from the original document from being deleted if a user changes the response to the student does not need accommodations during revision. The system will display the original values as read-only and allow users to enter an end date. The system will default the end date to the date the revision document was created if the end date field is left blank.

Added validation that will prevent the user from saving the document when Text-to-Speech is selected with any of the following: Braille, Large Print, Refreshable Braille, or sign language directions only.

Added validation that will prevent the user from saving the document when Sign Language Online Video is selected in conjunction with any of the following: sign language test items or sign language directions only.

Updated the ACAP Accommodation Keyword table with the following additions, changes and removals:

For finalized documents with codes in the removal column, the system will set the end date to the revision date when the document is revised.
