Preschool Profile, Notice and Eligibility Decision Document, and IEP Document

Made the following changes:

Preschool Profile

• All Eligibility and Early Intervention IEP fields in the Preschool profile are now read-only to prevent manual changes.

Notice and Eligibility Decision Document - Office Use Only Section

• The Office Use Only section on the Eligibility Decision section is always visible in Draft, Review, and Final views, but won’t print.

• The system now automatically selects YES/NO for Eligibility Determined Prior to 3rd Birthday: field, based on the student’s Date of Birth and signature date.

• When Eligibility Determined Prior to 3rd Birthday: field is NO, the system now automatically counts and selects a range of days for the If NO, Range of Days Eligibility Determined After 3rd Birthday: field.

• The fields "If NO, Range of Days Eligibility Determined After 3rd Birthday" and "Reasons for Late (or no) Eligibility Determination" are now editable only before the document is set to Final.

IEP Document - Office Use Only Section

• The Office Use Only section on the Student Profile (Continued section) is always visible in Draft, Review, and Final view but won’t print.

• The system now automatically selects YES/NO for IEP developed and implemented by 3rd birthday: field, based on the student’s Date of Birth and signature date.

• When the IEP was developed and implemented by the 3rd birthday, the field is NO, the system now automatically counts and selects a range of days for the If NO, range of days IEP developed after 3rd birthday: field.

• The fields, if NO, range of days IEP developed after 3rd birthday: and Reasons for Late (or no) IEP Development and Implementation: now allows edit after document is set to Final.

• The Preschool Services Begin Date field has been removed.

English Language (EL) US Entry Date Field

The field previously labeled US Entry Date is now updated to Enrollment date in U.S. Schools to align with Alabama legislative language.

• EL Profile

• Individual English Language Plan (IELP)

• EL Student Listing Report

• S_AL_STU_SpecEdProfile_X_2 Report

Race/Ethnicity Codes - State Reporting Profile and Reports

Made the following updates:

• Added new Race/Ethnicity codes to the ReportedRace field:

  • Middle Eastern or North African

  • Hispanic

• When multiple races are selected in the Student Demographic profile, Two or More Races is now auto-populated in the Race/Ethnicity fields on the State Reporting profile and associated reports.

Preschool Profile and Early Intervention to Preschool Tracking Log Report

Updated the system to exclude referral and evaluation data from Parent or School-Based sources from the Preschool profile and the EI to Preschool Tracking Log report.

Going forward, only referral and evaluation data from Early Intervention sources will be tracked in the Preschool profile and reflected in the EI to Preschool Tracking Log report.
