When the user adds a related or consultation service on the Services section of the Service Plan and selects an actual service provider NAME, upon finalization of the Service Plan, the system creates the IEP Services Part B record and will use the Service's BEGIN Date value (from the Service Plan) as the Assignment Date and also add a provider assignment history record just like it does when the user assigns a provider to the service via the services profile.
MeetingType Keyword Table Changes:
T1 - renamed from Annual Review to “Annual Review IEP”.
Added new value = T5 - Initial Service Plan. This drop-down does not apply to the IEP document; only used in the Service Plan.
Added new value = T6 - Annual Service Plan. This drop-down does not apply to the IEP document; only used in the Service Plan.
When the Service Plan is not amended, the user cannot check the “Revision to Service Plan” checkbox. When the Service Plan is amended, the system will check the “Revision to Service Plan” (and that is the only checkbox that is checked) checkbox,IEP Compliance Report and none of the 3 checkboxes can be checked or unchecked.
When the user checks Initial Meeting, upon finalization of the Service plan, the system will flow “Initial Service Plan” as the IEP Type in the IEP Services Part B profile (currently, no value flows).
When the user checks Service Plan Annual Review, upon finalization of the Service plan, the system will flow the value “Annual Service Plan” as the IEP Type in the IEP Services Part B profile. (currently no value flows)
When the user amends the Service Plan and adds new services, upon finalization of the document, the system will flow either the Initial Service Plan or Annual Service Plan as the IEP Type based on what the original service plan was created with.
When the user attempts to amend a finalized non-active Service Plan, the user will receive a message “The Service Plan is not an active. The Service Plan cannot be revised/amended”.
When the user attempts to create a Service Plan, the document will be created regardless of the student’s eligibility (currently requires the student to be eligible for special education).
When the user attempts to set the Service Plan to review or final status, the student must be Eligible for special education (indicated on the Special Education Information profile). The user message will read: “The Service Plan cannot be set to review or final status as the student is not eligible for Special Education as indicated on the Special Education Part B profile.”
