Final Eligibility Report – Disability Selection Checks

• Added validation to the Final Eligibility Report to ensure cover page disability selections align with the disability worksheets and their eligibility results.

• Multiple Disabilities (MD) can only be selected when at least two additional disability categories are checked. Primary and Secondary Disability selections must match worksheets marked “Does Meet.”

• Enforced Primary Disability rules based on qualifying categories, including requiring MD as the Primary Disability when MD criteria are met.

RSMR Summary Report (Standard) – LEA Entry/Exit Changes, Prescribed Minutes

The Standard RSMR Summary Report now counts prescribed minutes only for the time a student was enrolled at Stage 5 in your LEA, based on their LEA Entry/Exit records.

• Updated columns: Prescribed Amt Per IEP Service Date Range (Min) and Total Prescribed Minutes for SY.

• Time when the student was at Stage 4 or enrolled in another LEA is left out, even if the IEP service dates cover it.

• This handles students who move between Stage 4 and 5, or leave your LEA and come back, during the reporting period.

Part B Related Services Management Summary Report (Advanced) – LEA Entry/Exit Changes

The Advanced RSMR report (Part B Related Services Management Summary Report) now follows the same Stage 5 and LEA Entry/Exit rules. It includes only students, prescribed services and delivered services for the time the student was at Stage 5 in the LEA running the report.

Service Capture – ESY and IEP Service Date Confirmations

• Added confirmation prompts when service dates fall outside the linked ESY service date range or exceed the IEP Service End Date.

• Users can select OK to create the service record or Cancel to stop and review the dates.

• Updated the IEP Service End Date warning to remind users to verify the linked IEP, confirm the service is not a makeup service, and complete an overdue annual IEP review when needed.

Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) Compliance Changes

• Enabled amendments for the BIP document and renamed BIP Period Review to BIP Periodic Review.

• Added a BIP Next Steps section for amendments, allowing users to Update, Maintain, or Exit the BIP with the required dates and details.

• When finalized, review and exit dates automatically update the corresponding fields on the Special Education Info profile. The original BIP’s Expected Review Date also updates the profile.

BIP End Date and BIP Status Indicator

• Added a new field called Behavior Intervention Plan End Date field on the Special Education Info profile.

• The student profile’s BIP indicator now reflects the plan’s start and end dates, while existing special education and enrollment exit rules remain in effect.

Initial IEP – First Provision of Specialized Instruction Reminder

• Added a reminder when activating an Initial IEP if the student meets the eligibility criteria for the First Provision of Specialized Instruction document.

• The system automatically creates the document when applicable, reminding users to confirm that specialized instruction was delivered to the student.

Note: This happens only for the original IEP, not for amendments.

The same Stage 5 and LEA Entry/Exit rules now apply to these columns in the Standard RSMR Summary Report: Grade, LEA Entry Date, LEA Exit Date, Delivered Services Minutes, Student Absent (Min), Student Unavailable (Min), School Closed (Min), Provider Unavailable (Min), % Services Completed, and % Productivity.

Delivered and undelivered service minutes now count only service dates when the student was at Stage 5 in your LEA.
