SPEDSM-142008

Projected Graduation Year (profile and IEP changes)

The Projected Graduation Year on the Special Education Part B profile was changed from a date field to a Year drop-down value.

The IEP document was updated to flow the Projected Graduation Year to the Special Education profile upon finalization.

In addition, a one-time script was run to flow the date from the most recent IEP to the Special Education profile as there was no previous data flow to the profile.

Referral Profile and AED Document

Referral Document- added a constraint where the user cannot create a new document if an existing Referral document exists that is in non-final status (document property “require previous doc to be finalized before new one created” checkbox OR where the student flag = REF. 

The system will display a message to the user when the constraint is generated: “Student has an open referral. Please act on the existing referral or close it accordingly.”.

AED: Removed the document constraint where it was requiring 60 days from the AED finalization constraint to close out the referral with discontinuation.

Reasonable Efforts Document

Updated the Reasonable Efforts document where, when the Consent Response is either Consent Granted or Consent Denied and the Consent date is on or less than 30 days from the referral (Date of parental consent for initial evaluation date value), then YES will be displayed as the parent consented on or less than 30 days from the due date and contact attempt records are not required.

IEP - Services Section - Dedicated Aids Area

Updated the Dedicated Aides section so that when the user selects Yes to the question “Student requires the support of a dedicated aid.”, the user is required to add at least one dedicated aide record.

Transition Conference Invitation Date - New Field

Added a new field on the Special Education Information profile “Transition Conference Invitation Date”.  

The field will be populated via an import process and will be used in reports such as the Subclass IV.

SPEDSM-147312

REV Details Standard Report

Changed the Local ID field to pull the student’s SIS ID as per OSSE request and to match other OSSE reporting standards.

SPEDSM-146715

Comparable Services Document

Corrected an error where the document was not flowing the Primary and Secondary Disability values to the student’s Special Education Information profile if the user finalizing the document does not have security permissions to edit the Primary and Secondary Disability values on the profile.

The document was updated to bypass user security and always flow the disability data to the profile.
