OSSE Staff Feed and Mapping Updates

Updates have been made to the OSSE staff feed configuration to improve role and position mapping for special education staff.

What's New

• Related Service Provider role mapping — Staff members sent through the feed with the "Related Service Provider" role are now automatically assigned the appropriate "Related Service Providers – Part B" permissions.

• Interpreter/Translation Provider mapping — Staff sent with the "Special Education Support Staff, Interpreter" position are now correctly mapped to the "Translation Provider" role and granted the corresponding Part B access.

• ESY LEA Viewer support — The system now fully supports the "ESY LEA Viewer" position received through the staff feed. Access is granted when the position is included in the feed and automatically removed when it is no longer sent, supporting time-limited ESY (Extended School Year) assignments.

Evaluation Summary Document

In the New Formal Assessments section, the Evaluator name, credentials, and title fields are now required. Upon finalization of the document, the evaluator’s name will flow to the Assessment Part B profile.

Updated the Delivered Services Report to now include Special Education Service type with the Service of "Speech / Language Only".

Evaluation Report

Updated the Evaluation Report located in the Part B Medicaid folder as follows:

In the student selection criteria of the report:

1. Now includes the Assessment Category code = 9 (Audiological) and 37 (Speech Language Screening).

2. In addition to the existing selection, students will no longer be included in the report if the Assessment Date does not fall within the LEA Entry/Exit date range of the district the student attended at the time of the assessment (via Globals Profile, matching LEA.

3. Removed logic where it was excluding students if the Primary Disability value was blank.

4. Now includes inactive students.

Service Capture

On the student’s IEP Service Records Part B profile, a new label called Fully Licensed Provider is displayed under Completion Date.

The field is read-only. The field will display the staff who marked the profile as “completed”.

It will display the staff name along with the date/time the user checked the box and clicked save.

Delivered Services Report

The Delivered Services Report was updated to include inactive students. The report now includes a new column labeled “Licensed Provider Sign Off”. The column will pull in the name of the person who marked the service capture record as completed.

The report now includes a new column labeled “Non-Licensed or Licensed Under Supervision”. The field will report Yes if the staff member who provided the service has a checkbox in the “Non-licensed or Licensed Under Supervision Provider” field on the staff profile; otherwise, No is reported.
