IEP Services Part B Profile Assignment Date

When the user assigns a service provider (actual name) on the IEP document, upon finalization of the IEP, the system will flow the service begin date as the Assignment Date value in the IEP Services Part B profile.

AED and Reasonable Efforts Documents

AED Document

• The system now prevents the user from finalizing the AED for children under age 6 unless a Reasonable Efforts to Obtain Parental Consent worksheet has been completed.  When the user is not permitted to finalize the AED due to an unfinalized Reasonable Efforts document, the following message is displayed to the user:  “The student’s Reasonable Efforts to Obtain Parental Consent worksheet is required to be finalized prior to finalizing the AED document.“

Reasonable Efforts Document

• Removed the dropdown field (editable field) and now defaults the reason as “Requesting Parental Consent for Initial Evaluation”.

• Updated the existing guidance language section (added below item c) on the form to include “This form should be used to document LEA efforts to request parental consent for an initial evaluation.”

ORP Attestation report was changed from 10,000 row limit to 99,999.
