Updates to Special Education Program profile validations

1. If Timeline Compliance Descriptor is set to 01 (Parent Refused Services), the user can submit documentation without a "Transition to First Steps Date."

2. If the Timeline Compliance Descriptor is other than 01, then "Transition to First Steps Date" is required. Below error message is displayed : ''Transition to First Steps Date' field is required for the selected Timeline Compliance Descriptor.'

Updates to the LRE section of the Service Plan document

• The LRE codes below are now displayed as a dropdown for the early childhood decision tree.

  • 38- Child is parentally placed in a private preschool (a private preschool includes only those preschools attached to a private elementary school).

  • 56-Parentally placed in private school.

• Below LRE code is now displayed as a checkbox for school aged decision tree.

  • 56-Parentally placed in private school.

• Removed educational setting.

• The user can’t add additional LRE under the school-aged decision tree area.

Updates to documents

• If the "Parent Response Date" is earlier than the "Date of Delivery," a message will appear: “Parent Response Date cannot be before the Date of Delivery.”

• This message will only trigger if the checkbox for "Parent will sign paper copy" is selected.

• This condition has been implemented for the documents listed below.

  • Parent Refusal Letter.

  • Parent Opt-In Letter.

  • Written Consent to Bill Medicaid.

  • Notice of Reevaluation.

  • Parent Consent to Receive Electronic Documents.

  • Notice of Initial Proposed IEP.

• Referral Information Script is now disabled as it is not required for Indiana State Model.

User Error Message on LRE section of the Service Plan document

• Added a warning message if that field is set to 0 or empty, which states “Instructional Minutes should not be empty or set to 0.

• Fixed the document error when 0 is added for the field ‘Instructional minutes per week’.

• ML Compliance and EL Caseload reports are now pulling the data from English Learners profile and EL Services profile.

• Quick link icon for both reports now redirects to the Student Information Profile.
