When a parent declines FAPE on the IEP, teachers can now create a Service Plan without having to re-enter all of the same information.

Notice of Ineligibility/Termination of Eligibility Updates

Updated Meeting and Participation section in Notice of Ineligibility/Termination of Eligibility. The following things have been removed:

• “Does the parent reject provision of FAPE and intend to unilaterally enroll the child in a nonpublic school?”

• Parent consent/refusal statement for IEP services.

• Reevaluation checkbox (not applicable for Initial Evaluation).

Updates to the IEP document

• Added a new section in the IEP named ‘ESA-SP Activation’ for ESA students.

• All four checkboxes in the section are required, and the section is now configured to work with both DigSig and Physical signing.

• When the IEP is finalized and the parent has completed the ESA-SP Activation section :

  • IEP flag is removed and Eligibility Status is set to ‘Eligible, Parent Refused’.

  • SPED Exit Date is set to the Date ESA-SP Activation is signed.

  • SPED Exit reason is set to ‘Moved, KNOWN to be continuing in an Educational Program ONLY’.

The system now displays both Grade 2 and Grade 3 accommodations for IREAD when a student is in Grade 2.

Removed Grade G01 from the section action and adjusted the warning message to say ‘Grades 2 through 6’ for IEP and SP.

Disabled document actions prevent users from finalizing IEP and Service Plan documents when the selected disability doesn’t match a notice of evaluation or notice of reevaluation document.
