Special Education Team - New Profile

Added a new profile named Special Education Team that displays the fields Special Ed Teacher/Case Manager and LEA Representative moved from the Special Education Part B Profile.

SPEDSM-113397

Analysis of Existing Data Updates.

Made the following changes to the Analysis of Existing Data document:

  • Added a new field named Date of Decision which flows to the associated Referrals Part B profile, Part B Referral Discontinuation Date when the checkbox labeled ‘The child should not be evaluated to determine eligibility..” is selected in the Additional Assessments section.

  • The field Date of Decision is required for finalizing the document.

  • When the referral linked to AED is NOT a re-evaluation and the student is age 6 years or less from Referral Date and the checkbox labeled "The child should be evaluated to determine eligibility..." is selected in the Additional Assessments section, a draft Reasonable Efforts to Obtain Parental Consent document will be automatically created upon finalization of the AED document with a message stating , “A draft Reasonable Efforts document has been created. Please proceed with documenting attempts to obtain parental consent for initial evaluation”.

OSSE Only - Global Reporting Dates Import

Created a new integration to populate the LEA Calendar Information within the Global section. This is only for OSSE.

IEP and Least Restrictive Environment (LRE)

  • Resolved an issue in the IEP Amendment where modified end dates of the original services are not updated to the original end dates while saving the Amendment section.

    • Added a new column on the IEP Services Part B summary profile labeled IEP Doc IDT. This ID is a reference to the IEP document it is associated to.

Resolved an issue in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) document where the services were cleared in the Services, ESY and Dedicated Aides section after completing the digital signature.
