Special Ed Profile, Special Ed Exit Date

A formula sets the Special Education Exit Date based on the student’s situation:

  • If there’s parental agreement, the exit date is the DateProvided.

  • If there’s no parental agreement, the exit date is 7 days plus the Date Provided.

  • For initial placement refusals or no responses, age and grade conditions further determine applicability.

The SpEdExitReason formula categorizes the student’s exit from Special Education into specific reason codes, depending on whether the scenario involves graduation, dismissal, or initial placement refusal. It determines the date of consent for re-evaluation when the re-evaluation process is initiated and consent is granted.

The ConsentReEvalDate field captures the ConsentDate only when a re-evaluation has been initiated (ReevalCB = True) and parental consent has been granted.
